Given what people believe to be going on down there, and the extent to which the corruption exists, an announcement at this point would likely be bad for Auburn. It will take a lot more time to exonerate, given what people believe to be true, rather than expose information or levy accusations.

My advice is to start drinking - you are not going to like how your football season ends.

I agree for the most part. However, the main parts here have been known to the NCAA, SEC, and AU since July. It was known who the players were, Bond, Rogers, Bell and that a solicitation was allegedly made.

This might be the case only if the investigation starts and ends with Cam. If the investigations and the FBI have tied something else to the program, you are looking at a whole different can of worms.

Well, if you see him wallowing, it won't be on TD.
One thing I WILL predict is that he won't come around if Mjöllnir lands on Auburn.

Goes with what I was told Sat morning. Announcement on Wed.
And favorable to AU, BTW.
Something is seriously wrong here. Every AU fan I have seen post here has favorable info concerning AU, but it seems everyone else outside of that group is hearing otherwise. Why is this?

Looks like the Mayans got the wrong date.

Yup, the NCAA discovered all it needed to know back in July. FACT.
All the people the NCAA and the FBI have been talking to for the last few weeks have just been an attempt by the NCAA and the FBI to clear Auburn and the Newtons. Later this week, Obama will hold a press conference and announce that Cecil and Cam are completely and totally innocent and that he had a beer summit with the NCAA and the FBI and confirmed that the Newtons are completely and totally in the clear. Auburn will be fully and completely exonerated. Mississippi State will be scolded for "acting stupidly" and a full investigation will commence to get into the scale of State's attempt to frame Auburn and the Newtons.
Mark my word: Justice will be served!

Auburn turned MSU in, not the other way around. MSU is creating a tactical diversion and trying to dig itself out by throwning sand at the Newtons. The SEC office and the NCAA know all about this, but have asked Auburn to remain silent. Now that Auburn and the Newtons are being harmed, the PTB are about to back Auburn publicly.
This one gets me every time.

Anyone have any real confirmation that there will be something announced in a presser at 11 tonight or is this all just a big joke?
