So each team had missed close calls on possible goaltendng? Sounds like that evens out and people should get over it.
This. Each call requires a slow-motion HD camera and a lawyer to try to prove. Therefore in real time you let it go.

LSU earned that
Absolutely. Coach Cal and most UK fans have been good sports about it.

Some? Stop focusing on the hand through the net. A KY player slaps the backboard almost at the exact time the ball hits the backboard. You can keep spinning this shite for your own entertainment but if you’re going to bitch about replay and rules you better be ready to enforce them all. By rule that would’ve been BI on KY first.

And so it was said...
But why are you still melting about this obvious foul where your team tried to undercut Emmitt, nearly breaking his legs. Dirty arse mizzou.
Thankfully the SEC refs have been top notch this season.

frick it... nothing anyone says or does at this moment is going to change the outcome of the game...it’s game over go home, call Roger Goodell....frick....maybe he will listen...all this BS talk about who interfered is IRREVERENT... fricking move on... it’s over....

Both announcers ended the game broadcast after watching the replay from above the basket, by saying it was a good call.

It’s like you’re trying to sound stupid.

Regardless it’s not like Kentucky automatically wins if we don’t score there. I will say it was definitely basket interference on LSU and I’m a LSU fan... anyone who’s says different is fooling themselves.
However, that ncaa official is incorrect in that the defenders did cause enough contact to the rim that it could have altered the shot. For that head of officials to say that it didn’t alter the shot is ignorant and a disgrace to officiating. It may not have altered it in actuality but there is no possible way to prove that. You have to make the call on what you see and that is that Kentucky absolutely caused the rim to move throughout the sequence of the shot, no matter how small it may have been.

Why not respond to the people making good points then, instead of the ones you seem as “stupid”

We’re at least getting to the point where LSU fans can almost admit that the ball was in the cylinder. It is progress.

A reply that is both a non-sequitur and objective nonsense. This represents everything that sucks about the rant.

I think that you are correct in that Kentucky caused the apparatus to vibrate and this vibration continued as the LSU shot entered the cylinder and remained in the cylinder.
This is, by definition, Interference. The LSU goal should count at that instant and whatever happened after that is irrelevant.
Now, I am no basketball rule expert, so, I'd like somebody to explain why my understanding is wrong or correct.
Thanks.

Your understanding is completely correct

Yes, and, I interpret the rule and conclude that this is Interference on Kentucky.

Yep you are absolutely correct. Any other argument against this is invalid and not worthy of a response.
Also that call is made 9/10 times at any other point in the game. There’s no hesitation to make that defensive interference call the second the defenders hand goes up through the basket like that, no matter how small the contact with the rim. Because it was the last play is the only reason it wasn’t called in this situation.

They are very upset that their biggest win in a decade has been completely overshadowed by a missed call
