Took a team of 2 and 3 stars to a wire to wire top 8 ranking and a tie for the program record of wins in a single season (31) with a chance to break it outright. Well deserved Rick

I wouldn't say zero history but Barnes was, by far, the most successful coach they've ever had and is responsible for arguably 50%+ of their all-time postseason success. They'd only made it to the sweet 16 5 times prior to Barnes and had only made it further than once since the 1940s (in 1990). Just Texas being Texas to their own demise. Hate it for 'em
