I guess no one studies psychology at Auburn, but it comes across as desperation, denial, and projection formed from fear.

No one in the nation is scared of UGA. All yall to hype yourself up is your record against Auburn recently and 1 playoff win. Yall are just one of those teams that can float around the the top 10 but not win anything nationally. Almost all 1 and 2nd year coaches look good with other coaches players. Let's seem him with all his players.

nobody should be "scared" of anyone, but you're simply ignoring reality if you don't think we're one of the best teams in the country over the last 2 seasons, with a very positive outlook going foward.

We've won the east twice, the SEC once, won a playoff game and made the title game in the last 2 years. I mean that's SOMETHING natinoally I think.

Andrew Thomas
Jake Fromm
Deandre Swift
Isaiah Wilson
JJ Holloman
Richard Lecounte
JR Reed
Maurice Smith

are all guys that have made major impacts from kirby's early recruiting. The '18 class hasn't had much time to shine just yet but guys like zamir white, tyson campbell, cade mays, brenton cox, trey hill, etc are all guys that are going to make big impacts as well. You can certainly make a (relatively easy) case that a lot of '17s success was aided by Richt's recruits, but to claim that kirby can only win with richt's players is retarded. 2017 was successful because of richt's recruits AND kirby's..let's not forget that if kirby wasn't our coach fromm is at bama and when eason goes down in game 1 we've probably got bailey hockman as our QB.

I'm sorry yall are more psyched up about yourself than anyone else.

As for your playoff win yall are hyping up. It's the equivalent of winning a major BCS bowl. Which Richt did.

we're a preseason top 4 team...

it's not equivalent at all. For starters winning that game punched a ticket to the national title unlike richt's BCS wins. Also richt's wins were over a crappy FSU and an overrated hawaii. Ours was over the heisman trophy winner and one of hte best offenses in CFB history, against a blue blood program we've never played before, in the rose bowl. Also aside from the BCS title game, very few other BCS bowls matched two top 4 teams against each other.

1980 was forever ago. Even Notre Dame who is a relic has a more recent National Championship

I don't hype anything up but Mexican style rice and beans, and my lack of a future.

It is like losing in a blowout in the BCSCG. It is something the fans can say we achieved something but the program is just not ready to take the next step. Getting beat in the CFP Championship Game is like losing in a close game in the BCSCG. Shitting all over yourself and losing in OT of the CFPCG is hard to compare to anything. Nobody else has done it.

Winning the rose bowl and going to the title game is the equivalent of getting blown out in the title game? What a stupid take.

making the playoffs and making the championship game is an achievement. Whether you believe so or not, it does mean something.

according to what, exactly?

Yes, losing the national title is like losing the national title. Although the CFP championship is harder ot make.

nobody else has had a close loss in a title game?

You are right it is harder to make the Top 4 than it is the Top 2. And it is a lot harder to impress those 13 members of the Committee sitting in a resort in TX for 6 straight weekend instead of writers of the game and a computer formula. Did computers recognize "eye tests" ?

it's harder to win 2 games against a top 4 team back to back than it is to do it once...

You are a trip IP. You have no idea what it takes once a team makes it to the CFP, has to win vs a top 4 team in order to advance to the championship game. You whining about the "eye tests" for the last 5 yrs is hilarious.

Bama most impressive win in 2017 was against MSU. A MSU team that lost to Ole Miss a week and a half later. They had their butts taken to them by AU and didn't even win the SECW. So keep pushing that mantra that the CFP are harder than the BCS. I'm sure there are UGA and Bama fans that might believe it.

And what has Auburn got? A SEC West Championship? Then you went out and got spanked.

No it isn't. It leads to a National Championship game! You don't see the difference?
Not surprising.

Auburn has the only fans that can say they had a great year after losing 4 games, then say Georgia's year was nothing special after playing for the National Championship....in the same year.

For Kirby he had iPhones and president trump and many of the things I aforementioned. Op is prolly a side walk fan lol
