In the crowd, you could read their lips:

"Where's a pacemaker? Where's a pacemaker?"

What is the take from dawg and land shark fans about the Commissioner's mandate that all parties meet in the League office and put an end to this history of animosity between the two programs?

Considering both teams think the league is to blame for a lot of the animosity it should be an interesting meeting. Cohen needs to walk in with a boom box playing Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” and bring Stankey’s attention to the part of the song that mentions OM by name

Ole Miss likes those QB's. Patterson, Kelly, Wallace and Corral are all douchebags. Ta'amu is the only exception. I like that kid.

Masoli too even though he behaved in Oxford. And Brent Schaffer, a QB kicked out of Tennessee for beating an old woman with a bat at a bus stop.

Gotta give the refs credit for getting that game under control with the 3 DQs. That's well deserved and under used.

Except that of the 3 DQs, only one of them were correct - Peters (#2) from State. Cam Dantzler (State) and CJ Moore (Ole Miss) got ejected even though they weren't involved.

They should have ejected 1 and 2 for Ole Miss, and 2 and 38 from State. But they only got one of them right.

Damn SEC refs are terrible. They couldn't even be bothered to review that and get it right. I'm no Ole Miss advocate but it's bullshite that CJ Moore, as a senior in his last college football game, gets ejected for something he didn't do.

It’s funny to hear state fans bash corral. He’s a freshman qb and went after a senior dB, not like he’s a 300 pounder beating a woman on the ground. I’m all for a qb who stands up for his teammates. Our associate ad should be fired, but is calling someone like abrams or Simmons a thug inaccurate? Not sure I understand the term if it doesn’t apply.

Except for the fact they disqualified the wrong folks.

Corral is two years older than Simmons was when involved in the incident. Simmons has went on to be one of the best players in the nation and a future 1st round draft pick. All while leading an exemplary life on campus and being on the All SEC Academic Honors student as well as the President’s Academic Honors list. I doubt Corral’s career will follow the same arc.

Couldn't they both be thugs? They seems the most likely. Now everyone is right.

I got respect for the Mississippi State players for not knocking Corral out after his helmet came off.

Why isn't Corral a thug? He started the whole thing by grabbing abrams while he was locked up with brown.

Why isn't brown a thug? I mean, he did take a swing too, and he's been known to show his arse before.

If you're gonna start throwing around the "T" word, let's make sure we don't apply it unevenly.

Only after your player threw the first punch. Doesn't matter what shite talking was said. If you throw the first punch, you're in the wrong.

State Fans remind me alot of Dems right now.

What did corral or brown do that is equivalent to beating a woman? State fans defending that guy are pathetic. Yes, the same goes for any ole miss fan who would defend one of our own who did something like that

GTF outta here with that shite. I haven't heard anyone calling out Hartsfield, who sexually assualted a dude in high school, or your former receiver Stringfellow who you picked up on transfer after he got kicked out of school for beating the shite out of his girlfriend. Y'all were hoping State would pull Simmons' scholarship so Hugh could swoop in and save the day.

You are blinded by your own hypocrisy.

Jeff Simmons won the Conerly trophy tonight. He will be gone to the NFL after this season and you're going to have to come up with something else to feign your faux outrage over.
