Nick Saban claiming to developed the WR position at Alabama is as silly as Gus Malzahn claiming the DB position while at Auburn. Everyone knows that NS is a defensive coach, specifically the secondary.
Guys like Jonathan Jones, Noah Iggy, Jamel Dean, Carlton Davis and Roger McCreary weren’t developed by GM. Those guys are the product of Kevin Steele and Will Muschamp, and Ellis Johnson to an extent.
