This is why a lot of Ole Miss fans want Corral back under center next season. Corral will do much better in Kiffin’s system than Plumlee.

Yea - it would be really tough to run Kiff's RPO-infused West Coast system with a guy who isn't automatic on 5-7 yard throws. Completely messes it up.

Plumlee needs to play receiver. He is a great athlete and could probably do some damage there. He has no future at QB.

He could definitely do damage as a jack of all trades guy - given his competitive nature and what he showed last year he'd be electric in the slot/motioning into the backfield/etc.

Mac “Pick 6” Jones is going to disappoint a lot of Bama fans who are comparing him to Tua

He’s definitely a student of the game and bring his lunch pail to work everyday

This will tell the story on the LSU offense IMO. Burrow and Edwards-Helaire made our OL look MUCH better than they actually played. They will need to keep Brennan upright and if they can, he can be successful. We haven't seen him be able to negotiate the pocket like Burrow did to extend plays.

Boy some of you are really having some strange melts to a bunch of vanilla stats about SEC QBs
Posted on 8/17/20 at 11:27 am to SummerOfGeorge
Are you sure this is correct? I was told Kellen Mond is one of the best returning qbs.

Unless Plumlee drastically improves passing the ball, Corral needs to be the QB. Plumlee would be a perfect slot player or wildcat QB. A lot like Mccluster was

Kiffin will definitely find ways to get him the ball, too.

All I can hope for is Nix improving in his second year on those stats, but my worry is our OLine being new, but quite frankly it could be better than last years overall. I hope we get to watch them play no matter what though...lol

Not remotely shocked that Terry Wilson throws the ball better when he doesn't have to think about it.
