I think that once Mark Brown finally "retires" UT will either appoint someone under Brown to take his spot, or find a younger coach to breath some new life into the program. Don't be surprised to see someone like Shaw or Franklin out there in Austin one day.
Also I think Saban has about 7,8 years left, then he's done. His contract expires in 2019 and I really don't see him coaching much after that.

Finally, I can get some sleep. The possibility of Saban going to Texas has kept me up at night and caused irregular bowel movements.

Saban wasn't ever going to UT or anywhere for that matter but they need someone new and comparing them to UTk is stupid. Texas only has to turn on the fax machines to get the best talent in Texas. Tennessee has a lot tougher road to plow on recruiting. What they need is a great coach and he doesn't have to be good at recruiting.
