Not a bit. NFL knows half these guys are juicing anyway.

If South Carolina were in the playoff and we had guys who were struggling with injuries, I wouldn't give a frick if all of them were juicing. I'm not surprised by this at all. College football is big business.

Anybody think it's weird that most of these same guys were in the playoffs and tested the past three years and not a thing? We sent a guy home early three years ago because we found weed in his system.

This ostarin stuff is being found in salt tablets and other supposedly safe supplements due to cross contamination where it was manufactured. An Ironman triathlete recently was suspended and successfully appealed when it was found that salt tablets she took contained trace amounts of the chemical.

I'd like to know where these guys are incidentally getting salt tablets with anabolic agents.

It happened with a triathlete last year, so I guess it could happen to someone else.

But I guess the fact that we have been to three of these before and never had a single hit despite being tested should be ignored?

And the amount detected was a tiny trace. You think they are programmatically doping but have been through three of them previously without a single hit?

While I don't doubt that some supplements can withhold ingredients from their label, it certainly is not going to be any of the "major" brands. There are "blacklisted" brands enumerated on anti-doping agency websites that professional/premiere collegiate athletes should be aware of.

On top of this, Clemon's athletic staff mentioned they are in "control" of what supplements athletes use. Well, if this was the case, you would think a fair amount of research, testing, and verification would be part of the selection process on top of using trusted brands that are 3rd party approved for their ingredient list.

In the end, even if I did believe it was entirely incidental, a high caliber athlete is solely responsible for what they consume and should perform the due process as above. And, to answer your question, athletes evade drug tests more often than they are confirmed positive. I have no doubt that most collegiate/professional athletes are using PEDs.

Is that like being a little pregnant?

Lance Armstrong cheated the best drug testing in sport for years and never had a failed test.

They are dirty little dopers and deserve to be banned.

I think it’s time to overturn their earlier games. A&M is now 8-3.

Well the reason is obvious. Clemson believes that the level of competition this year has improved substantially (as opposed to their previous 3 years in the playoffs), and it required increased levels of PEDs.

So Clemson has 3 guys test positive twice for PEDs. Nothing suspicious there.

No. They take 2 samples. If the first one tests positive they test the second one to verify.

Contaminated medicine is not that unheard of. I took the blood pressure medicine Diovan for years. Got a notice to see my Doctor and start on another drug. The medicine was manufactured in China. The contamination was rocket fuel.

Who knew?

I doubt the whole team was tested. These were probably the only 3 on Clemson's team tested.

No, it is a response to your point about half life and how recent the use would have been. If the amount detected is a tiny trace, it stands to reason it could have been a longer time period.
