The running back coach who’s contract was up in March and was the only current staff member who had not already been offered an extension?

Lol yea you stole Robinson! They are actually bragging jumbo is dumb enough to take Robinson off our hands so we can promote Kevin Faulk. You do realize you weren’t the first team we “encouraged” him to move to right?

aw, look at Aggie reminding everyone they have a track and field team every time someone brings up the fact they can't win in the sports they actually care about
Bless your heart

Tommy Robinson said he got tired of winning all the time, so he went to aTm to balance things out for himself.

Okay. Even I have to admit that this one was very well done.

Damn, that's sad. Mississippi State even has 1 appearance in 2 of those categories
It what was considered a down year for Augie's standards at Texas in 2014, they still got hot and made it to Omaha (ending A&M's season along the way) and won three games there before falling to eventual title winner Vanderbilt.
I don't think anything epitomizes their athletic program better than a down year for Augie being more than what A&M baseball has accomplished... IN ALL OF THEIR HISTORY COMBINED

they want to be LSU so bad

Pretty sure "down years" for Augie were 2012 (no NCAA tournament appearance), 2013 (last place in Big 12) and 2016 (his final season and only losing season at t.u.).
Since A&M last missed the NCAA tournament (2005 season), your school has missed it 4 times.

Cool story.
Also, considering that Augie was at the school for 20 years, and 10 of those saw Texas host a regional, that would mean that the other 10 (or half) Texas did not host a regional i.e. it was in the lower echelon (or lower half) of seasons.
Yet it was still more than the Aggies have ever accomplished as an entire baseball program. Sad.
Since Texas last won the National Championship in baseball (2005 season), they have won 7 games in Omaha. Your school has won zero.

The guy's contract was up in a week and had not been offered an extension. LSU then hires replacement an hour after A&M announced the hire. Ever think LSU had not planned on him returning.......
