My horse may have tall legs, but it doesn’t need “if”statements to make it a horse

I disagree. My horse most definitely has legs right now.. as does yours..

But there is good news..

1) I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night
2) I just saved on my auto insurance
3) We finally play the game this year and can settle it on the field.

Therefore..

IF Texas beats A&M, you will lose your legs.
IF A&M beats Texas, I will lose my legs.

We shall see who gets to keep their legs..

No surprise to hear aggy complain while having the easier schedule.

If you read the article, you would realize that the coaches of ALL SEC schools are the ones complaining.

It’s your first year in the SEC. It took us 12 years to get the schedule we have this year. We probably won’t have another one like this in the next 40 years.

LSU and UGA would be a damn good game. Probably closer than what y’all could muster.

Ahh yes, that same LSU team that got 31 points dropped on them in the second half by a team that threw the ball twice. Let us not forget they lost to USC at the beginning of the year (4-4).

Lets also leave out that UGA's defense is much better than A&M's ( got 3 ints vs LSU).

Doesn’t matter how big or healthy something is. The fate of the SEC is sealed.
One year’s SOS isn’t ranked 10 spots higher and the whole conference is doomed? Seems like an appropriate response around here.

coming from a fan of a team that avoided bama, tenner, and georgia I wouldn't be pointing out easy schedules to anyone.

and yes ours was easy by sec standards.

Don't you have essentially the same schedule next season with home and away reversed?

I think UGA has a good defense too... but let's not forget they've had off days too. 41 points and 547 yards vs Bama. 31 points and 385 yards vs MSU.

UGA's had more consistent defenses in prior years. The top level performance is still there and still elite, but the consistency is not.

I credit some of that inconsistency to health. Mykel Williams being injured most of the year, then showing up to play Texas healthy, he was a game wrecker. I don't think UGA's secondary is as good as we typically see from them. Overall UGA's athletes and development are second to none on the defensive side.

From what I have seen from a healthy UGA and A&M, I'd take UGA's defense 10 out of 10 times.

Opponent matters too.

UGA didn't fear Ewers running with the ball. Or Manning (though if he had played the full game they might have).

Normally with running QB's, UGA focuses more on maintaining containment in the pass rush vs simply going all out for sacks. Against Texas they didn't worry much about containment. UGA probably isn't going to do that against most of the QB's they'll face this year because most of them are mobile guys. They would against LSU if they faced them, but many of the conference QB's are running guys.

When Manning came in for those 2 series Kirby immediately adjusted and spied Manning. Props to Kirby for being prepped for both QBs.

You forget the calls in the Georgia game, the already Texas-centric SEC Network infatuation.

What you don’t get is that this isn’t our first year in the conference. We played in the west for the past 11 years. Lastly, the SEC coaches aren’t livid due to OUR schedule.
