So basically they are telling players that they need to keep playing after the whistle?

Ok, but intentional grounding should have resulted in a penalty and a 10 second runoff. Game over, Arky wins.

A. There was a penalty. It was a spot foul. It cost Auburn roughly 1-2 yards.

B. There was 28 seconds on the clock. Run 10 seconds off. Run 20 seconds if you want.

PorkSammich can’t stand the fact that Arkansas lost to both Gus and Chad at the same time. A select few in the fanbase will continue to melt on this issue for years to come.

We’ll get our revenge in Fayetteville next year.

That's what I would suspect. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Wouldn't have mattered in this case. The 2nd Ref waved off the Auburn player (Williams) attempted to recover the ball. It would not have met any criteria for immediate recovery. But you can still keep your moral victory.

Ark players didn't even try until the sideline yelled Fumble.

Auburn wins. Time to change the rules.

There is a valuable analogy we can learn from here...

Yes which is why this seems like a bad idea. If you want to "fix" what happened in AU/ARK have the refs wait more on when they blow the whistle.

Finally. Glad you acknowledged how bad your last offensive series was to just run the clock out. Had they called the game the way it had been going, the field goal was totally moot and the game was over.

But the refs

This has literally always been the case when the ball is loose. Idk if Auburn fans all started watching football last week or they've somehow completely wiped their memories clean of every time a team was rewarded the ball after a fumble recovered after the whistle.

If I make the 79th post on this subject, will you be the first to post in that one too?

Lol there are even 2 arky defenders with their arms down by their side not concerned with the "fumble".

That snapshot is a couple of seconds after the first whistle blew.

Says more about you and your fans than it does me. There are bad calls every year. Cry for a day and move the frick on already.

or am I not supposed to be posting in a thread about my team. Can you refresh me on the the Rant rules?

Even if it wasn't an immediate recovery, shouldn't it have been spotted where the ball stopped moving? Would've made a bit harder FG for Auburn
