Ridiculous to fire Mullen right now. He’s never going to win a title but we are consistently in the mix now. We have to give him 21, and 22 to see if he can get over the hump. No title by 22? Move on ain’t happening.

Do yourself a favor and look at the composite record of those teams that make up his 29 wins. It’s startling how bad the record is. Mullen is 2-6 against teams that finished ranked in the top 25 while at Florida.

Mullen: 0 SEC titles
Mullen is 0-14 against ranked teams in late November/December.

Auburn finished in the top 25 in 2019. Michigan finished in the top 25 in 2018.
I'm off the Mullen bandwagon, and 2021 is a very serious turning point year for the program, but at least get your facts straight.

That 2014 MSU team didn’t beat a single team with a better record than 8-5 and lost 3 of their last 4 games. Being #1 for 2 weeks was complete fool’s gold.

I still say he is an alter, though. I just can't think of which fan base. My knee jerk reaction is he is from Georgia, since we troll Florida a ton, but he just feels like LSU to me.

My mistake, I figured after they lost to Minnesota in the bowl game they weren’t ranked. So Mullen is 3-6 against top 25.

He beat no. 2 Auburn in 2014 to take the no. 1 spot in the polls while at Mississippi State.

Yes. I’d say 2008 was the only better offense than this seasons. 2001 is comparable with Grossman but Trask was better and had better receivers. 95 and 96 with Wuerffel are comparable but not as good as Trask either.

Auburn finished the year at 8-5. Including losing 4 of its last 5 games and losing to a 9-3 UGA team by a final score of 34-7.

We had Pitts for a quarter. We weren’t at full strength either. It was stupid when our fans claimed injuries the last two years. Apparently the team that recruits better is just fine to do it though. fricking embarrassed for you guys.

So you don’t have the most talented roster in the country and recruiting rankings mean nothing? Our injuries in a 7 point game last year meant nothing but yours do? Hypocrisy at its finest.
