From 2008 to 2023, I can’t even count the number of times Bama beat a team by a worse score than 38-3, but nobody mentions those lol

After IU running back Roman Hemby crossed the goal line to make it 38-3 with 10 minutes left in the 2026 Rose Bowl, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit said the quiet part out loud:
“Alabama being humiliated by this Indiana team,” said Fowler.
“Yeah, this is embarrassing,” added Herbstreit.
It became the program’s most lopsided defeat since 1998.

yeah like when bama destroyed Mizzou 10 or so years ago in CoMO? Yeah bama blew our doors off and embarrassed Mizzou. I was there.
But that was then and this now. You know now like this year when bama barely squeaked by lil ol mizzou.
Now that the playing field is leveled and we can all pay players like bama had been doing for years the past means nothing. saban knew it and he split b/c he didn't have an advantage any longer.
