Dynasties are fun, but all dynasties eventually come to an end

Yeah since then you've enjoyed officiating calls to help you find a way to win.
Yet haven't won one SEC championship.
Congrats.

Kirby Smart is 1-6 vs Bama and the one win is looking more and more like an absolute fluke as time goes on.

Yeah, you are right. Being the more physical team and controlling the line of scrimmage is way overrated.

One and Six
Think about that for a minute. That's embarrassing.

Kirby Smart has won national championships in 2 of his 8 seasons as a college football head coach. His team lost in OT in the championship game in another season.
Alabama doesn't matter any more than any other team that could beat UGA in a game to prevent them from making the playoff or winning a title.
UGA and Bama aren't rivals. We don't really care if we lose to Bama or not in a season, we care about the final result.
I will say that it will be nice for UGA to finally have a game against Bama in Athens next year with Smart as the coach. In 7 games so far, not one has been at UGA's stadium.
4 of those 6 losses on the road or at a neutral site were losses by a single score. Having 95% of the stadium being UGA fans in some of those might have helped some.
UGA's lost one home game since Smart's first season at UGA.
Including that first season his home losses:
2016 to Tennessee (3 pts)
2016 to Vandy (1 pt)
2016 to GT (1 pt)
2019 to SC (3 pts in OT)

0-0 in Athens, GA
0-1 in Tuscaloosa, AL
1-0 in Indianapolis, IN
0-5 in Atlanta, GA

Heupel has more wins in four years against Bama than Kirby does in seven years.
Dawg fans will never admit how much this fact bothers them deep down inside.

To be fair: Georgia probably would have won a few more if they had a bunch of calls go their way like Tennessee did in their 2 wins.
