He also beat Louisville and Oklahoma

at Houston, the big games on his schedule are Oklahoma and Louisville. At LSU it will be Alabama, Auburn and Florida. At LSU, the SMUs and Navys will be Ole Miss and Arkansas...an argument can be made that he will win less big games and lose more supposedly automatic Ws.

Yeah, Ed Oliver is going to be a high draft pick.

OU and Louisville are significantly better than Auburn and Florida this year

I think the reason coaches at Houston look good is they get better baseline talent than most schools of their caliber. They are literally surrounded by players. The bigger schools get most of the top end talent, but a lot of schools at Houston's level struggle to get consistently decent talent and they don't. They aren't taking in NFL studs every year, but their two deep is honestly about like ours or MSU.

since Auburn and Florida play defense, this statement is debatable as hell.

Lamar Jackson is the scariest player in college football right now and Baker Mayfield isn't too bad himself. A whole lot better than what Auburn and Florida have been putting out at QB recently.

It'll be the same. Herman may be worse than Sumlin. LSU would be way better off getting Jimbo. Man they're stupid

Herman's offense is superior to Sumlin's. He's the architect of the offense that steamrolled Alabama in the Sugar Bowl loss to tOSU.

Jimbo's offense is straight out of the 90s.

Why is an ole miss fan opining on coaching hires? Your coach may not be there in few months.
