Running too many plays and putting his players in danger so he got the rules of CFB changed? Now there are bama fans bleeding all over about Butch Thompson. Why did Saban prioritze wins over player safety when he could have just put in his 4th stringers and walkons if he was worried about player safety? hurr durr

Remember the last time Auburn beat Alabama?

I'm genuinely asking because I'm sure a lot of people don't. (It's been a really long time.)

You mean phipll fulmer? After a rookie head coach and freshman quarterback went to Knoxville in 2001 and beat them using a no-huddle offense he complained to the league office and had the rules changed.

I remember him complaining about Freezus when we beat them in 14 and the HUNH. When he went and switched to it himself the crawfishing was fun to watch.

There are?
Saban hurt you bad, big fella. He’s been retired for 2 years, and he never had anything to do with baseball.

If I remember correctly saban said something more like “it was bad for the athletes but if that’s the direction of college football then that’s what we’ll do” and he proceeded to do that better than freeze did too.

This.

I believe the question was, "Is this what we want college football to be?" The answer was a resounding yes, so he went out and did it better than Ole Miss, Auburn, or Texas A&M.

He went on a crusade against it and then did it himself. It wasn't some aw shucks campaign and of course he did it better than Freeze he's a vastly superior coach.

No, and neither do you. It is impossible to remember something that never happened.
