Remember when they made fun of Jimbos big buyout Woodward gave him? I member.
Rember when LSU let them hire a Notre Dame HC whos biggest accomplishment was getting embarrassed in the 2012 National Championship Game by Alabama and now theyre shocked that this same coach got embarssed by wait for it.... Alabama again??? I member
Remember when Brian Kelly got the Jimbo Buyout but it was ok because he got embarssed to Georgia in the SEC Title Game, wasted a heisman winner with an ofek defense, and destroyed the identity of the LSU toughnesss????

Woodward does make some decent to good hires in the other sports. But yeah I’ve never understood the “he’s an elite AD” talk as all he does is throw big contracts to lure away football coaches that are usually past their prime and looking for a new spot anyways.
