Tis life

Sometimes it's good to have to defend positions. Helps sharpen critical thinking.

Or that's what I tell myself.

Oh come the frick on.

What constitutes a "playoff program"?

Is Auburn a playoff program? Is Georgia? Florida?

Who else in the SEC besides Bama would you consider a "playoff program"?

I'm guessing by your standard it's a team that is highly likely to make the playoff every year. That would currently be Bama, Clemson and Ohio State and pretty much no one else. And after Saturday night it's highly debatable if Ohio State is still a playoff program.

I get it that Bama is the most elite team since the dawn of man. That doesn't mean a team like Georgia, Auburn, LSU or Florida isn't capable of having a few jailbreak years here and there.

In fact, some would say the strength of this conference is that we have six teams who are capable of doing exactly that (if 10erC hasn't been completely bombed back to the Stone Age).

Ok UTP, once we got past calling out past gumps for hating stuff then adopting it things turned out ok.

In fairness to UTP, I'm sure he learned a long time ago you have to stir the pot a little or else nobody comes to the table to feast.

Honestly, who gives a shite as to how a team get the ball into the EZ?
Idc if UF runs the damn Wing-T if theyre scoring 50+ a game.

Historically when I hear ppl say Gimmick offense, its translation for Offense our team cant stop.

Well, we thought that, too. But his team has beaten 3 Top Ten teams this year which has delayed the jury's verdict for the time being.

Lol for the time being. He knows.....

Wait, running out of the Pistol or Shotgun is now "gimmicky"?

We've been running the majority of our stuff out of the Pistol or Shotgun since 2012 homeslice.

Heres video of the good ol days when Bama used to play real football

The HUNH, fast paced offense is dangerous to player safety. Is this really what we want football to be?" Nick Saban (paraphrased)

You have confused scoring quickly when they want to with running a HUNH offense. Bama uses most of the play clock most of the time.

It seems like just yesterday

Tell that to the Tennessee QB. Probably seems like Saturday to him.

You think the fact that Alabama has sat on the ball for 1/3 of the season has something to do with this?

How many plays does bama average in the first half of games and how does that rank among other teams?

That's just weird. We're supposed to be ashamed of beating teams so badly in the first half that we shut it down in the 2nd half?

Well I'm not.
