ND was unranked for the last five weeks of the 2014 season. They entered the bowl game with a pitiful 7-5 record after losing 49-14 to USC in the season finale. They went on to beat lsu in the bowl game. Still not enough to earn them a ranking.

Killing em Juice. Killin em. Just like the real juice.

That is a completely humiliating and shameful stat. So much so that it makes me want to celebrate

The delusion of LSU is complete. They are still talking "generational" about LF. Many have talked about LFs "rare combination of size, speed, hands, etc." It is slobberingly akin to sticking fingers in ears and going nahhh nahhh.

Truth is, he was never even the best in the SEC, and as far as "rare" goes, both Henry last year, and Scarbrough this year are bigger, faster, with just as good "hands." Let's don't even talk Lacy, and the rest of the RBs just from the SEC the last few years. "Rare?" in what way?

LFs career at LSU was decent but not noteworthy. Truth is, he was defined by bookends... a ridiculous Heisman pose against Sam Houston in his first year, and a full-scale quit half-way through the season in his last year.

God knows why LSU fans are so invested, but it is probably because they all collectively lost their shite when he signed. But then again, at about the same time they were sure Brandon Harris was going to be the cat's meow too. Sad.

Well he could've had that type of coach, but he chose to go to LSU instead of Bama. He did so, presumably, out of some sense of state pride, some love for LSU, and probably on some level a desire to avoid being told "you're not welcomed back in da boot, tigah bait!" if he had chosen Bama.

If he had gone to Bama he'd likely have won a Heisman, been used properly, been coached by the best RB coach in the nation, won multiple SEC and possibly multiple national titles, and would drafted top ten. Only thing in that list that he has going for him by choosing LSU is he will still likely be drafted in top 10

A generation is considered to be around 25 years in advanced cultures.
For bama fans a generation is 20 years like most primitive cultures around the world.

With that being said, LF is not just a "generational" talent, but a once in 6 generations talent for bama fans. Once in two lifetimes type talent when you consider LF has more yards rushing, in fewer games, with a higher YPC average than every RB from bama since 1892. That's a fact, Jack!

Tell me Jack. If what you say is true, why did Eddie, TJ and Derrick all get drafted in the 2nd rd of the NFL draft?
Why is LF still a top 5-15 pick in the upcoming draft ?

Why was the Center (Ryan Kelly) drafted ahead of the guy who broke the SEC single-season rushing record?
The only Heisman Winning RB since at least OJ Simpson to not be drafted in the 1st rd. Sad.
Do you have any idea how humiliating it was for DH to see a big, fat, slow white guy who snapped the ball get drafted ahead of him?

I'm glad he went to LSU and wish him luck in the NFL but I would rather have team first guys even if they are not as talented.

More likely late first early second round, a la Lacy. This stunt, quitting while the season plays out, isn't going to impress GMs of the NFL.

I have fun crashing these threads with facts and watching bama fans deflect or disappear. Jack is may be even more obsessed with LSU than you (if that's possible).

Gumps like you keep saying LF isn't a generational type talent.
I remind them that he has more yards, in fewer games, with a higher YPC average than every RB from bama since 1892 (that's forever actually) and what do I get? Crickets.

Then I remind them that I could find no Heisman winning RB other than poor Derrick Henry in the past 50 years that was not drafted in the 1st RD (check it out). More crickets.

To add insult to injury, DH had to sit in the draft room and watch his Center (Ryan Kelly) get drafted ahead of him. That hurts man. Think about it. He ran for more yards than Herschel and BO and the NFL GM's yawned and placed a higher draft grade on the Center for his team.
Crickets crickets crickets.

Heres my repost for you gump tards:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Imagine if he would have had a coach that would have put him in a better position to succeed.

Lets see the power I formation with one receiver two Te's and a fullback. I wonder who is getting the ball.

When you have the talent on par or better than what LSU had how hard was it really to see what was coming. The teams that did that beat LSU or shut down LF . Why is it LF is to blame when he was running against 9 guys in the box and coach that couldnt develop a QB that could get him some lanes to run . We see how them bama backs look at the next level on non elite NFL teams with subpar qbs and average Olines
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You gumps are mad because he didnt go to bama. Yeah he stayed in Louisiana because of state pride. Whats wrong with that? Did hes career at LSU turn out as planned no. Thank Les Miles shitty Offense plan against good teams.

Dont be surprised though when he gets to the NFL that by running behind those average offensive lines, in college, that he turns into a better RB than bama has produced in the last 10 years even those great ones you've produced that won heisman trophies

Alabama fans have never said DH or any Bama RB was a generational talent. But DH is a Heisman, Maxwell, Camp, Doak Walker winner, SEC champion, National Champion, not a quitter, and scored more than 1 touchdown against teams that finished in the top 20.

No player in LSU history accomplished what DH did while at Bama.

Im not gonna lie on LF skipping the bowl game. That was messed up. I think DH maybe the best of the bama bunch in the last 10 years. My Point is Les Miles offense was great against inferior competition but on a level playing field against a sound defense LF , derrick henry or even walter payton wouldnt have touched 75 yards in a game. With no passing threat. In big games LF had no chance if the LSU QB couldnt pass effectively and guess what they never did! I respect him for staying in state trying to help LSU win a National Championship doing it for Louisiana. Jarvis Landry wrote an article explaining it. I believe DH would have none of those awards you stated had he been put in the same situation as LF.

Yep. One of them had the most rushing yards of any SEC running back this year.

It's bowl season, so I decided to sit out of the threads about Fournette.
