You can get poster 3down10 very riled up three ways.

It consistently delivers.

1. Say 2019 LSU is tGOAT

2. Use rankings at time of the game

3. Say LSU only had X number of scholarship players when BK took over

Then why couldn't they beat the 2019 version that was worse by more than 5?

Hell, if not for Shane Lee, you wouldn't have even won that one.

The 2019 Bama team would beat the 2020 Bama team by double digits.

2020 Bama played a bunch of teams with drastically depleted rosters. Matt Jones?? Lol

False. 2019 had true freshman Shane Lee playing as MLB after the 1st and 2nd string were out for the season due to injury. 2020 Alabama would have abused him more than 2019 LSU did. Shane Lee never saw the field again after 2019.

The only team like that was LSU because your team is a bunch of pussies who didn't want to play for your program.

2019 LSU had an average defense, they wouldn't have been able to stop 2020 Alabama.

As soon as all you kids get it out of your system and move on, the adults can talk about this topic like intelligent fans of cfb.

There’s no topic bc it hasn’t happened. Taking a season that hasn’t happened with zero data or empirical analysis and comparing it to a season that did happen in 2019 and asking which is better is quite arguably the dumbest thing someone could do with their time.

What do you compare? The strength of schedule? One team hasn’t played anyone yet. The Quarterback’s passing yards to Burrows? One team’s QB hasn’t played yet.

Enlighten me on what you would discuss you absolute moron.

I've been told repeatedly by LSU fans since 2020 that games don't count unless the stadiums are full of opposing fans.

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what you are referring to

It was a tongue in cheek reference to LSU fans who don't want to count the 2020 season because the stadiums weren't full due to covid as the only time stadiums are full of opponent fans are the away games.

because actual things done on the field of play, ya know things like points scored, points allowed, margin of victory, wins, championships, etc...actually matter.

And LSU belongs in all of those discussions with a differentiating aspect of having a heisman and who's who squad.

I saw someone mention Covid Bama. 2019 LSU wins that game pulling away just like they did in 2019.

2019 LSU beat

Florida (11-2 - losses LSU and Georgia)

Bama (11-2 losses LSU and Auburn [lol Mac Jones])

Georgia (12-2 losses LSU and S. Carolina)

Oklahoma (12-2 losses LSU and K. State)

Clemson (14-1 - only loss to LSU)

Also for Clemson, they were on a 29-game winning streak going into the NC and had won the previous NC and 2 of the last 3)

That right there will be what keeps '19 LSU at the top for a very long time to come. There will be others to take a run at them, but that resume right there says it all. Top that and nobody will have a leg to stand on. Don't, and just bend the knee to the greatest team you've ever seen. LSU 2019 was, is, and will be the GOAT for a long time to come.

2001 Miami is the GOAT if I'm being consistent.

11 multiple pro bowlers. 13 total

38 total draft picks

Only beating Auburn by 3 points, Alabama by 5 and Texas by 7 is no where near dominating.

Bama and Texas games both had glorified garbage time touchdowns to make it a one score margin. Auburn was close but that was the one game where we didn’t execute in the red zone. Steele also went to that goofy 8-DB look so give them credit but we outgained them 508-287 and ran it all over what was a pretty good DL in the second half to counter their look. Not the 3 most dominant outcomes but at no point in any of those games outside the first 20-25 minutes vs bama and the 1st quarter against Texas did i think we were in danger. I’ve said before Florida may have actually been our toughest game that year. It was back and forth until we pulled away with that late Chase TD and Stingley interception.

You can’t be serious. Other than Alabama and Ole Miss scoring garbage time Td’s LSU dominated ever team they played on Defense

Let me answer this thread and every other thread like it;

We'll all know that a new team has now become the greatest ever when comparison threads no longer use the 2019 Tigers.

2019 LSU

1, 4, 6, 8 and 14

2020 bama

1, 4, 7 and 13

Any clues what those are?

And the 38 to Texas
And the 38 to Vanderbilt

3-9 Vanderbilt.

It was the most points Vandy scored on anyone all year, unless you want to count the FCS school Vandy played, Vandy scored 38 on them too.

You know people can see the games you actually played right?
