just think, they would have probably made it if there was that ONE call that they needed in one of those three losses. they used to get those ALL the time. sucks to be non-preferred.
cannot finish outside of the top five in this one and retroclaim a natty this year.

Actually a random holding call saved them against us. Our DEs were in the backfield all day but no holding calls oddly enough even though there was mugging on most plays. We were driving to ice the game and a holding call out of nowhere.

Biggest thing no bama fan wants to admit is the lack of the “eye test.” For the past decade almost, it really hasn’t mattered who bama lost to cuz “I just feel like bama is one of the best X teams.” They hired a terrible coach and the “eye test” is already over. People are arguing about all these macro-CFB concepts when literally that’s all that’s changed.

LSU got every call in the South Carolina game and still only managed to finish 8-4.

Meanwhile we should of been 10-2 with a Freshman QB that was hurt for 3 games.

You must not have watched any Alabama games last year.
They looked like hammered shite against Texas, South Florida, Arkansas and Auburn last season. Alabama was fortunate to get wins in three of the four.
There is a reason Saban retired when he did.

My favorite was the “ineligible receiver downfield” call that reversed the TD against OU.
Bama fans were still relegated to the fact that they were getting their doors blown off the hinges and that the game was lost before then.
Then add to that the fact that they feel they should be competing for a spot on the playoff but got replaced by death penalty U.
