But there are some members of my family I don't care to be around all the time.

Ever notice how each school's fan base can never understand why a recruit chooses another school over theirs? "Why would someone want to go to (INSERT SCHOOL HERE)?"

Westerman is also rooming with Keihl Frasier too. Auburn has a good chance with him.

No we don't. I'll be shocked if he goes to Auburn. Just not a good fit.

How is one of the top ranked lineman in the nation not a fit for Auburn when it will definitely be a position of need next season?

We need linemen yes and he is talented but he is wanting to go to a school that is in or withing 10 minute drive of a major city such as Atlanta, Austin or something similar. Personally I'm going to be nice and just wish him well in his recruitment.

I'm sure other recruiters are feeding this idea to him. The "long term health of the program" is usually way down the list on what top prospect is actually interested in.

"Long-term health of the program" was not an idea that Christian formed on his own. His dad, who does not want him at Auburn, used that line. He also said was a "great place in the middle of nowhere."

His dad wants him at ASU big time, and they also want him to play in a more metropolitan environment.

Cut bait and move on. It's not like he was a long-term commitment or someone who has been heavily considering AU for any length of time.

From ESPN today.....Westerman to USC? -- Current Texas commit Christian Westerman just informed ESPN's Jeremy Crabtree and Jamie Newberg that he's going to visit USC on Jan. 13. The Longhorns edged the Trojans for his initial commitment. The Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) product is now only considering those two schools. More to come on this news tonight during ESPU broadcast
