Any team that lost to South Carolina at home shouldn’t be optimistic about anything.

And let's not forget: they struggled a week ago to beat that craptastic aggy team we absolutely destroyed last night. But that didn't stop UGA fans from thumping their chests like beating aggy was a "quality win"

Inexperienced? We beat UCF last year and they were the Champions for since forever!

My bad you are correct his name is Swift. I will correct it tout sweet. Wasn't raggin on him. Saw where he hurt his shoulder yesterday. Pickens is out first half? Right? It is him that was involved in the fight? What kind of numbers those other cats have?

Dude you lose a lot of credibility when you don't know YOUR teams recent record in SECCG.

Yeah, I fricked that up.

Dline goes at least six deep and rotate out on a regular basis. Sometimes starting on second possession depending on how long first possession was.

LB corps goes 7-8 deep with quality and experience. Going into last weekend Phillips (ILB) was leading SEC in tackles.

Every team has "depth". UGA depth is full of 5* freshman who would be starting on most SEC teams. We rest a few guys, 4* and 5* studs come in their place. This is one of the primary reasons our defense has been as good as it has...they're fricking relentless.

Also Pickens, D-Rob, Blaylock, Zeus, and Herrian are all legit threats for the offense.

Well, I guess we'll see come Saturday, boys. I can see this devolving, from UGA's perspective, into a first-rate beatdown by the Bayou Bengals. Could make last year seem like a close one.

LSU is on a mission.

2. Depth,

Um, how's that depth at WR? Oh yeah, your best WR is out and your #2 guy is suspended for the 1st half, meaning that LSU will load up the box to stuff Swift.

I don't see how you're going to score many points, and I don't think anyone can consistently stop the LSU offense, so I really don't see how you're going to win.

UGA crowd will have minimal affect on LSU.

If the Gamecocks can withstand between the hedges, then LSU should be ok.

The crowd wasn't my point...the stadium was my point. Walking into MB Stadium as a college player will be something those kids have never experienced. It just screams, "oh shite, this is a big fricking deal, I hope I don't frick up".

What's the word on Swift? Caught something in between food comas about him getting injured. Hope he plays.

UGA has had a good season no doubt! I just think LSU’s offense has too many weapons that UGA defense can’t cover them all

Wait, you're kidding, right? The stadium itself is going to intimidate our players?

You're serious with that shite?

Shoulder contusion. He's a go and shouldn't be limited.

There's speculation the left shoulder was already hampering him and that's why he's often carrying the ball in the wrong hand, exposing himself to big hits/fumbles. So he could be vulnerable come Saturday, but his legs and vision still work fine.

LSU can match UGA blue chip for blue chip, 4*-5* for 4*-5*.Tigers backups along Dline. One was a starter last year. The other DE actually leads the Dline in tackles. The backup NT is a BIG BAD Hawaiian. Keep an eye out for #62, he is a man child. Because of injuries throughout the season five of top six Dlinemen have multiple starts.

I think part of the reason for UGAs defensive numbers is because of the quality or lack of quality offenses faced. Tigers have faced three defenses that are about on the level as the dawgs. Put up over 500 yds "O" on each of them.

No that's watching JoeB and his crew doing it all season long. Opponent didn't matter. Tigers handled business on that side of the ball TWELVE straight games.
