Reasons for UGA to be optimistic

We're underdogs going into this weekend, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. LSU has powered through a relatively difficult schedule fairly easily, with the only close games being Bama and Auburn. Burrow is nearly sure to win the Heisman and he has a fantastic cast of skill players surrounding him.
All that said, Dawgs have some things going for them into this game that aren't as simple as just saying, "defense":
1. Big game and elimination experience. 3 straight SECCGs (winning two), a CFP win in the Rose Bowl against a high-powered OU offense, and a close Natty loss to Bama. Jake Fromm has led this team through all of these games and we've got players all over the field who have done the same. Experience matters and could certainly give UGA an advantage over an LSU squad who doesn't have a single player who has experienced a SECCG, much less a Natty or CFP game.
2. Depth, especially on defense, Oline, and RB. Injuries are never a good thing, nor is fatigue. Georgia has the depth to keep their defensive line-ups fresh and absorb injuries at most positions (minus QB and WR). LSU has a very talented roster on both sides of the ball but they simply don't have the depth UGA enjoys. Injuries and/or fatigue are intangibles Coach O and co. have to consider when gameplanning...Smart doesn't.
3. Game at MB in Atlanta. The stands are red and black, players will be 90 miles from campus, they've played there numerous times and have had success. MB can be an intimidating place for a college kid to play. There's being under the "bright lights", and then there's playing under a state-of-the-art dome that cost over $1,600,000,000. The atmosphere alone will cause LSU nervousness.
4. Rat Poison. LSU fans, players, and coaches are going to be drinking that shite up this week. Coach O, as much as I absolutely adore the dude, has been talking HELLA shite in the media....he's drinking the poison. If he's doing that, you know damn well the players are, too. UGA as a home dog against a team gulping rat poison is a recipe for LSU disaster.
Experience, depth, and homefield advantage all against an overconfident and inexperienced LSU squad....Dawgs could easily be CFP bound.

That’s a whole lot of words just to say “I’m scared”

I didn’t read the post. I’m not optimistic nor am I scared. We are the underdogs and very well should be, but we have a lot of talent and there’s a reason you play the games.

Perhaps it's just indicative of posting on a board based out of a state with like the lowest literacy rate in the nation, but I don't get why you people always think posting with confidence for a team is construed as being "scared"?

Alabama game was not in doubt. Alabama never had a chance to take the lead
Auburn could have beaten us

2 is not true, LSU has depth and has no issues with injuries nor has fatigue been a chronic issue this year. 4 is just a reach for you to make yourself feel confident. LSU plays in front of 102,000 people on a regular basis, the investment cost of some dome that has less capacity than Tiger Stadium, has no bearing on anything.

Are you trying out for an internship at The Red & Black?

Great way to start a discussion about your OP by insulting people.

Did I miss something? This is your third straight. You won in '17 but didn't you lose '18? Are you already counting a victory in a game that hasn't been played?
The rest of it is fiction other than the Georgia Dome. It didn't help you in 03 and 11 so GFY.

Sorry I didn't throw in a few completely fricking insane conspiracy theories to keep the interest of dipshits like yourself.

Did it look like we bought the “rat poison” last night?

You, of all fricking people, should be the last one to criticize someone else's grasp of the facts.

I saw O screaming at a player to do his job with just a few minutes left in the 50-7 blowout to Texas A&M. This team will be ready and we didn’t come all this way to lay an egg.

Give it up UGA.
You had trouble with A&M @ home. The corndongers had no issues with A&M @ home. Enough said.
