I realize this isn't technically LSU related, but it is our conference, wasn't sure if y'all had seen this yet. First the fans were chanting SEC as the Big12 Championship ended.
Now Kim English has this picture with the Big12 Trophy:

Missouri's entrance in the SEC is HUGE!

You have the St. Louis and Kansas City Media markets!

Mizzou is SOLID, in all sports, particularly MBB at present.

I agree with the poster and their fans are not better or worse than ours, at LSU.

At least, and unlike the PHONY AUBURNT TIGGERS, they are genuine and were Tigers from the start.

Plainsmen...........War Eagles............War Buzzards.......War Chickens......then casually pick the LSU Mascot....because their Eagle was named Tiger. I ain't kidding at all...

I did too, but I'm willing to give these clowns a chance. I lived in Kansas when they had their big run a few years ago with Chase Daniel at the helm. Go tigers!!!!!!!

I was at that game yesterday in K.C., their fans are similar to any others and there were MANY SEC shirts like that at the game.

I was at first very skeptical of Mizzou (along with aTm) coming into the SEC. But their entry is going to shake things up somehow, and bring some fresh air into the unchanging and sometimes stale SEC atmosphere. This may become an ultimate good for all of us.

Hopefully this attitude starts to spread so Arkansas, who has been in the conference for 20 years and still gets bashed as the "newcomer", gets some respect

I think it comes from a variety things why Mizzou fans are so ready to ditch the Big 12 and find a family in the SEC. One is the screw job done by the Big 12 in bowl selection. For years Mizzou's record has been passed up by lesser teams in the Big 12 for bowl selections. Secondly it's how the Big 12 has used Mizzou as an example of what happens when you jump ship on Chuck Neinas. The comments he makes about blaming Mizzou for the conference shake up in the nation is so laughable. He didn't get whe CU, NU, and A&M left. Finally it's because most Mizzou fans want this. There is a reason why the University and it's fans have been more vocal than A&M fans. Their pissed. Feel like they have something to prove. And just want a fair shake. All you have to do is look at that pic of Kim English and it says it all.
