Can Vanderbilt move to another conference in football? I mean what’s the point? Downvote me all you want. Break the record of downvotes on this site. I don’t care. Vanderbilt shouldn’t be playing football in this conference. How far would Vandy go in the sun belt?

*** I want the downvote record let’s fricking do it cmon***

Had a buddy of mine tell me that SEC needs a private member school to be protected from FOIA requests.

Not sure if true.

No one's leaving. No one's ever going to be kicked. Otherwise you'd just have a rotating roster of currently competitive teams.

Vandy won the same number of SEC games in 2022 as AU and Tamu. They’ve got as many SECC as OM/MSU/SC/ARK/KY/UT the last 25 years..

The Texas teams have a much better chance of getting kicked. And even then, that ain't going to happen.

Dude STFU. Be realistic with yourself. You think Vandy has a legitimate shot at winning the SEC as those schools? If you do then you’re an idiot. Vandy would be 6-6 in the SWAC

Vandy went 2-6 in the SEC last year, just like AU and TAMU.

Vandy and Georgia Tech should go to the ivy league.
Not a joke. They could be extremely competitive there. And maintain the "we're a good school!" schtick.

But they are elite in Baseball and academics. SEC is a founding member and is here to stay.

You do realize there is a finite number of wins and losses in a conference schedule right? It's a zero sum game. Someone needs to be ok with taking a bunch of Ls and Vandy fills that void. In return they raise the academic profile and are competent in other sports. They have 2 natties in baseball and even have had some good hoops teams.

They're staying. Get over it

You apparently didn't read mine. If you take the top 16 teams in the nation and put them in one conference, some teams are going to start having losing seasons regularly and their perception as a top 16 team erodes. Vandy is ok being that team that loses all the time so they serve their purpose.
