Tenn. State and East Carolina for opening weekend. Pathetic.

Well, our schedules are more than likely backloaded, as there is always a great chance we'll be playing in the SEC championship game and the playoffs. LSU on the other hand....

Na, I see your punchline and I agree with yall's soft arse schedule you will be in the SEC championship. Just like every year, a soft schedule.

Opening weekend matchups like that can definitely feel a bit underwhelming when everyone expects high-profile games right out of the gate. It makes you wonder how these schedules get signed off sometimes.

LA Tech and McNeese State didn't have any open dates for us to schedule them.

LSU, UGA and Bama all have a Top 20 SOS.

What are ya'll fussing about?

IF you want to complain about SOS take it up with indiana, (36) Notre Dame (55) or Penn State (62)....

Just for the heck of it, I did a little investigating. In his (Kirby Smart) 10 years as a head coach, UGA's record against ranked opponents is 42-17.
In that same period of time (10 seasons), LSU's record against ranked opponents is 22-23. Meaning that not only has UGA been more successful at beating ranked opponents the last 10 years, but we've played MORE (59) vs LSU (45). So, you wanna keep talking about 'soft arse' schedules?

This is a bit of a cupcake schedule. I guess with 9 game SEC schedules, this is to be expected. GA Tech isn't bad now but that's not exactly a tough OOC game.

I will agree that LSU had been really bad since 2019, but come on yall have had some easy schedules the last few years. I don't see Georgia losing a game.

Maybe one day we can get the Auburn-UGA game back to November. Also need to play 2 @ UGA in a row to get the timing right.

South Carolina - UGA was always great as the SEC opener, or at least it seems like it should be that type of game.

As bad as their roster is, Clemson may be worse.
