100% the other big 6 are not even close to bama, were you under some impression that they were
say what you want but once you factor in everything, Nobody is close to bama across the country.
the cfb data warehouse had the bet rankings

pdating the numbers, Based off their Formula I think Bama is still by far #1 and its not close. Southern Cal would be 5th now behind OU and OSU.
LSU would for sure jump Nebraska, prolly texas too or be very very close.
UGA would have jumped Tennessee and Clemson would have jumped to 15.
Best guess of 2020 CFB Data Warehouse rankings
1. Bama
2. ND
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State
5. USC
6. Michigan
7. LSU ( prolly overtake michigan by 2025)
8. Texas
9. Nebraska
10. UGA
11. Tennessee
12. UF (will overtake Tennessee within 3-4 years)
13. Auburn
14. Penn State
15. Clemson(will jump to 11 with a CFP win. 13 with loss in the championship)
16. Miami
17. Minnesota
18. GT
19. Washington
20. Florida St
21. Michigan St
22. Texas A&M
23. Pitt
24. Arkansas
25. Wisconsin
26. Stanford
27. UCLA
28. Ole Miss
29. Iowa
30. Oregon
for the SEC its very simple
Tier 1
1. Bama
Tier 2
2. LSU
3. UGA
4. UT
5. UF
6. Aub
Tier 3
7. A&M
8. Arky

Top 25 Blue Bloods

There are so many metrics that go into measuring what makes a top program stand above the rest.
Basing this simply off AP rankings is... insufficient.

Remind us who won the natty last year?

Does 20+ years of mediocrity or trash not matter? Also leaving the big 12 massive frick up that they will never adjust to.
Eric crouch was the last good thing they had. He won a heisman and if u look at stats it's pretty obvious the sophomore grossman got screwed.
Tebow broke the mold on that bs rule.

Poor Nebraska...how the mighty have fallen.

Anyone that wants to reevaluate the Big 6 doesn’t even understand what the Big 6 is.
There’s an objective criteria already established to whether you’re in or not.

Cool concept for the graph, but its not accurate.
For instance, Clemson has 115 Top 5 appearances now.... on this graph they appear to only have around 60 so its obviously out-dated.
----
Since this graph appears to be trying to rank programs by both Top 25 appearances as well as Top 5 appearances, weighted equally, I've put it into list form below to get an accurate ranking using those two criteria.
**I achieved this by taking each program's number of both Top 5 appearances as well as their Top 25 appearances and divided each by the program leader's numerical total for each of the criteria. This gives each program a percentile compared to the leader. Then average those two numbers together and it spits out the order.
1. Ohio State- .966
2. Oklahoma- .954
3. Alabama- .942
----
4. Notre Dame- .814
5. Michigan- .809
6. USC- .750
7. Nebraska- .738
8. Texas- .711

9. Florida St.- .585
10. Florida- .559
11. Penn St.- .549
12. Miami- .510
13. LSU- .501
14. Georgia- .493
15. Auburn- .470

25. Iowa- .244
28. Ole Miss- .226
37. Missouri- .163
52. Miss St.- .118

They are not. The graph is incorrect.
Actual Top 5 appearances (National All-Time Rank):
115- Clemson (#17)
80- Texas A&M (#20)
57- Arkansas (#27)

Thanks for again confirming how useless the term "blue blood" has become. When half of the list has been irrelevant for decades, list is shite. History, great. Relevance, none.

There is a clear separation in the top right. Not coincidentally, those are the "blue bloods."

No. Hell, Michigan has 1 split title in just the past 60+ freaking years. And they didn't even deserve that much if you ask me.
But they are one of the blue blood programs.
No clue what the rest of your post was about.

I think it's more that people don't understand what the term means.

You are probably right. They want to use it to mean the programs that are elite right now, and that's not what it means.

Oh great. All of a sudden we have OSU fans in here? Just as we got rid of the Clemson fans.
