I had hoped to have this discussion without it turning into a flame fest, but I can see that is not going to happen.

Are you really trying to argue Kiffin is a better coach than Spurrier?

What the hell has Petrino done to always rate so highly with fans?

He's in year two at Arkansas and they don't look dramatically more impressive than they did last year. How is the recruiting looking up there?

I'm not sure he's a long term answer at HC in the SEC.....we may be witnessing the Peter Principle at work in Fayetteville.

I wasn't trying to argue anything. I was just looking for more of an answer then "just because."

Well for starters Spurrier has a bowl win in his college coaching career.

90% of them still contend that Kiffin isn't a piece of shite and we are all just jealous of how awesome he is, so it isn't that far fetched to assume some of them think he is better than one of the best coaches in college football history.

You have got to be the biggest homer on this board. Damn!

You ranked Chizik over Nutt and Spurrier just because he beat the Vandy of the Big 10? Brooks is a much better coach then Chizik to do what he's done with KY.

That's just sad and pathetic?

"Now" is a key part of the question. This wasn't a career question. Kiffin with mostly inherited players beat Spurrier who has mostly his own players.

He didn't say at this point in time only. He said now, as in another year under the belt.
