People forget that Chizik was the DC on two additional teams that can claim a NC. He sucked at times as a HC, but he is a very good coach. This past year proved that fact.

Stoops doesn't get the credit he deserves. He DOMINATED the Big XII when the Big XII south was the toughest division in the sport. Yes his team lost BCS/Titke games fairly often but this 15 year run he's on is one of the most sustained periods of success in history.

Stoops did win every BCS bowl and has a CFP appearance. I think he has probably won more big games than miles in the last 5 years for sure.

Texas and who?
Chizik was/is a great DC. His calm under pressure and the way he handled 2010 for AU was nothing short of stellar. However, he proved in 2011 & 2012 that he had some flaws as a program leader once he started listening to the wrong voices within his program.
