It's really not that loud.
Especially at field level

The all knowing, Michael Wilbon, the wise, has made it known that JHS is the loudest. His word is beyond contestation, For this matter.

Also feel like MSU's position may be helped by the cowbell thing, but I've never been there so I don't really know.
Or because it's bleacher report and I can pretty much guarantee the guy who wrote it has been to maybe five stadiums in that entire list and used stuff from Wikipedia to judge his rankings.

LSU is without a doubt the loudest in the SEC and the country in my opinion. The top 9 or 10 stadiums in the SEC are probably among the top 15 in the country, and I think the 5 or 6 schools listed after LSU are probably pretty interchangeable depending on the importance of the game and who the opponent is.

I am partial to the LSU part but I am pretty sure you are making this statement without ever seeing a game at The Swamp and for that you are wrong.
My list:
1. Florida/LSU
3. Auburn
4. Texas A&M
5. Bama
6. Arkansas
The rest imo.

If, when they renovate Kyle, they close the corners in, our volume level will go significantly up, and volume level our isn't bad to start with. A lot of sound escapes because the ends are open.

Acoustics definitely have a lot to do with it.

I agree. I can't wait to hear what it's like in there when we eventually close everything in

Look at the other teams on that list and their success lately and then look at us. When we absolutely SUCK, as we have for too long, we are still arguably anywhere from second to fourth. If Sumlin can get things going and we close in the corners, the noise is going to absolutely insane.

Sure thing, brah. We're louder when we suck than every school other than LSU.
This is how you know this comparison is bunk. An Aggie, who has likely never been to another SEC stadium, is making judgements about where Kyle Field falls in the spectrum.

Could be but it's mostly stupid cowbells and the giant video jukebox !

Most SEC stadiums draw large crowds even when they suck and are also very loud. Your theory is bunk.

kyle field actually is pretty loud. They don't sit.....at all.

I agree but it could be better if the older folks and former students made some noise throughout the game

Palooza? shite, now we got a party.

I agree. Almost all our noise comes from the student section and some younger alumni. I'd say about 95% of the noise in our stadium comes from 35% of the people in attendance.

I know. I've been. To Oklahoma too. I thought Oklahoma Memorial Stadium was louder.

The Sooners actually win, instead of inventing ways to choke in the second half.
