How can you possibly know that? I'm not saying that we're better than Arky but I think it's very possible. It would have been nice to be able to see it played out on the field.

Arkansas #3
UGA and USCe play 10 games its probably 5-5. Our defense earned the 28 points you spotted us. How many you going to spot LSU 28 or 35.

The bottom line is if UGA played Ark. this year, USCe would be playing in Atlanta next week.

All we know is what happens on the field.

shite happens. Players get injured. Teams don't play to their full potential, and sometimes they play over their potential. Such is the life of college football, which is why it is so damn entertaining to watch.

Exactly. If UGA got to play Arkansas then we wouldn't be having this discussion. But then we wouldn't have these great pissing contests

Ark has has so many let down games this season against bad teams. I would maybe rank them slightly ahead of GA but neither have beat any good teams.

I did a least squares fit to a get the best possible power rankings using a 4 point home field advantage. This is the scientific way to do it.

1. LSU 45.13 +/- 6.04
2. Alabama 37.84 +/- 9.87
3. Arkansas 30.83 +/- 8.92
4. South Carolina 28.18 +/- 7.75
5. Florida 27.96 +/- 11.47
6. Georgia 26.31 +/- 8.27
7. Mississippi State 18.73 +/- 4.13
8. Vanderbilt 18.54 +/- 5.18
9. Auburn 17.45 +/- 9.15
10. Tennessee 11.11 +/- 6.12
11. Kentucky 3.50 +/- 10.27
12. Ole Miss 0.00 +/- 7.28

Goergia's "home" loss to Boise is a big blow and they didn't play LSU, Ark or Alabama so Arkansas definitely #3

I'm going to run with this guys logic.

We obviously spotted LSU 28 points. Definitely not a bad loss anymore since we spotted them those points. Hell one could almost say it was a win.

Makes me feel better about the loss.

Well if I recall a pick 6 was involved, a fake punt for a TD, and recovered fumble for a TD were involved. Another fumble was returned to the 5 yard line or so and it probably what the original poster was referring to with the 28 points. Basically, UGA marched it up and down the field on USCe and the D actually held them in check most of the game, but the O kept gacking all over themselves, and while some on the turnovers were earned, some literally didn't involve a SC player- a QB-RB exchange. It was just one of those games for UGA. Hell, even Spurrier admitted that UGA outplayed USCe afterwards, but that is just the way the cookie crumbled.

So, let me get this straight, the Georgia Dome is home for UGA but the gator Bowl is a neutral affair for Florida? They are about equidistant from the respective schools.
