But, Oregon & WVU would be in the 5-10 conglomerate range in the SEC

Seriously? Oregon would be the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC at the least. WVU would be in the top 5 as well. LSU has beaten Oregon, WVU, and Mississippi State all on the road. Bama has beaten Arkansas at home and Penn State. I'm not saying LSU is better than Bama... at this point, we really don't know. LSU has done more this season than anybody in the SEC so far. LSU is at the top right now.

I figured you was crazy but with a statement like that, I see you're really a nut case. Go on hating and we'll see where everybody's at when the smoke clears...until then, try to make an impression of a wise human being.

Is this a ranking based on this weekend's games or through this weekend's games?

Florida might be a better team than LSU but to rank them ahead of LSU based on yesterday's performances or the entire season's performances, is just silly.

Florida's best win on the season is a 10-pt win at home against Tennessee. LSU has beaten 3 ranked teams away from Tiger Stadium by at least 13 pts each.

I would put us on par with South Carolina right now. UF has replaced us in the Big three in the SEC this year for sure.
Replaced? When were y'all ever in the top 3?

1.Bama - shut down an as prolific or better offense than WVU, and offense is equal to LSU
2. LSU - stop claiming MSU as a legit reason to move ahead of Bama. Oregon and WVU are reason enough, but you gave up nearly 500 yards to an undersized and overmatched team.
3. Florida - beat up on some middle of the road teams, next week will show your true colors
4. South Carolina - ugly win, but it was a win, plus they have a semi-legit win over Georgia
5. Arkansas - good, not great on Offense and needs to sure up that tackling
6. Tennessee - until you can run the ball or stop someone, you will not beat a top tier team
7. Auburn - they beat MSU, evidentally that's reason to celebrate according to LSU fans
8. MSU - you lost to Auburn
9. Georgia - will give a top team a scare this year
10. Vandy - solid D, but still can't move the ball against good defenses
11. Kentucky
12. Ole Miss

Ranking the SEC this week

Based on performance, LSU is number 1 in the nation right now. The tigers have beaten 3 ranked teams on the road---by a lot!
However I don't want the number 1 position, because LSU needs to have that hunger---that mental attitude that they need to prove something.

LSU is better than third, and UK is the bottom of the SEC.

Oregon wasn't on the road. It was neutral site, however it basically a home game.

Mississippi State was ranked at the time but needed overtime to beat LA Tech yesterday. Is that really a quality win? I could say we beat a ranked Penn State team on the road but everyone knows those guys are terrible.

I'm not knocking what they've done because they've played a legit schedule and looked great. Beating three ranked teams on the road is a misleading statement though.
