1. Nick Fitzgerald, Mississippi State - now a senior, and back from injury, I expect him to put it all together this season. He has all the tools to dominate at the college level. If Mullen was still at MSU I'd say Fitz would be invited to NY for the Heisman ceremony. Not sure things can get that lofty for him though, with a new staff.
quote:
4. Feleipe Franks, Florida - really taking a risk with this, but shark banger and chain smoker were horrible coaches. Dan Mullen is like a wizard with QB's, so Franks makes giant strides this year. That being said, it may very well not be Franks as the starter at UF. I've heard some people refer to Trask as Tebow-lite, so who know what will happen there. This spot is really about Mullen's reputation more than anything else.
quote:
8. Jake Fromm, Georgia - I like this kid but feel like last year he had the best backfield in the nation behind him and that helped a lot. I think he comes down to earth this year. Could easily flip him and Franks though. Next year though, he could be at the top of the conference.
OP is higher than Eagle pussy.

Georgia fans seem to be salty. If Fromm is so good, he should have been able to beat Bama ... Tua or not.

So because a true freshman wasn't able to beat Bama (despite taking the game to overtime) in the National Championship he deserves to be ranked #8 in the conference?

Why? Are you insinuating the QB who's team wins the national Championship is the best QB in the country? I mean, if he was so good his team should beat everybody, right?
I think it's time to bring your logic in for a tuneup. I mean, like....if there was a better QB in the SEC than Fromm shouldn't they have been playing against Alabama for the National Championship game?

Your reasoning skills are lacking.

Probably because he has a qb, that was shut down by any defense with a pulse, ranked #1.
It could also be the fact that he has another qb, that plays for his team, that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last year ranked in the top 4.

So you don't think Fromm is good, even though he took the mighty Alabama Defense to overtime?

Did you watch what he did vs Bama, AU and UGA when he had Mullen?
That's twice you brought that up.
Fact: Nick Fitzgerald had a higher QBR than Fromm vs Bama and at Auburn.

The passer ratings for those games combined will show a clear Fromm adv and Fromm didn't do all that well in those games.

The only three that matter are Bama’s QB, Stidham and Fromm. The plate is set for each.
They may not be the best pro prospect QB’s but they will be all that matters.

Sure, he's good. He has a scholarship at Georgia. So, yeah he's good. But I don't think he's great. #8 in the SEC seems about right for now.

You also said Greg McElroy 2.0 was Fromm's best case, so not sure why anyone would take your opinion seriously.

Fromm is the top QB going into 2018 and it's really not debatable.

Don't be an idiot. He was #2 in passer rating last year. It's okay if you want to put tua in front of him, but that puts him at #3 in the sec right now, and that's only if he isn't a backup to hurts.

This is the stupidest thing I've seen posted today.

Jake fromm should be at least 4-5, because even though he didn't get a lot of opportunities, he made very good decisions and has a good arm, and he has the potential to be the top qb in the conference as a junior.

He has that potential this year.
