I'm saying his playcalling isn't the difference between a 2 loss season and a 4-5 loss season. Especially when we are still using his playbook being called by someone who probably helped him put it together and used the same playbook for half a decade.
I understand whoever is calling the plays will use Petrino's playbook, but it's still someone other than Petrino calling them.
Just because it's the same plays doesn't mean they'll be as effective. We're assuming the new guy will know exactly when to call the right plays and how to set up those plays.
I think his departure is good for at least 2 losses Arky wouldn't have had otherwise, whether that be to Bama and LSU or USCe and A&M. Just my opinion, could very well end up being wrong

1. Bama - Oline will make this happen
Whoa! Didn't see that one coming. Why don't you make a thread telling us what team you see leading the conference in rushing, defense, interceptions and sacks. I'm dying to hear your opinion.

Plus, Paul doesn't ride about town on a motorbike with his hoes strapped to the back....he likes to hang glide with his wiminz....
so it's the same....yet totally diffrint. I see where youre going with this, and yes, I agree....

Paul Petrino is to the power spread passing offense what Danny Nutt is to the Wildcat....

Tyler Wilson= Brian Brohm pt 2. Little bitch wanted to quit so bad in November. Arky loses 5 with their Conference USA coach

Those two QBs (JJ/JL) beat pretty much every team in the SEC during their time at LSU. Some of them a couple of times (bama). Can any hawg QB make that statement.
Jefferson was on track to become the winningest QB in LSU history till the suspension happened. It might not have always been pretty but I'll take the "W".

10. S. Carolina - maybe should be higher
That's your analysis? You go by giant generalities for everyone and think oh yeah SC I'll just stick them at 10 and say they should be higher?

Hey joe you do realize that Jefferson had more passing yards againsy arky than what your #1 draft pick had?

1. Bama - Oline will make this happen
2. Georgia - Weak schedule
3. Lsu - Not as many defensive scores
4. Arky - No Petrino, new play caller
5. Tennessee - Dooley needs a 5th yr
6. Missouri - will adjust and get to play East defenses
7. Florida - should improve under new OC
8. Aggies - Intro to SEC defenses 101
9. Miss St - still got to play 2 of the top 5 defenses in the nation
10. S. Carolina - maybe should be higher
11. Auburn - see Miss St, and gotta see the defense off the field more first
12. Vandy - Arrogance of Franklin won't cut it again, takes a step back
13. Kentucky - Calipari's back for another yr
14. Ole Miss -

Yet if you said LSU would lead the conference in offense he would react to you the same way.

No, giving the truth gets better reactions

Arkansas
USC
Tennessee
Auburn
Alabama
LSU
the rest don't matter because they will be pitiful on offense.
