Your improper use of punctuation is almost as good as that other idiots misspellings. I make a little bit more than the 18,000/yr that was quoted earlier. I feel sorry for you poor people though...

People put way too much stock in Petrino calling the plays. We still have the SEC's best QB and (statistically) the SEC's best RB. We'll score even if we use Fayetteville High's playbook. Not to mention it's still Petrino's playbook...being called by his blood relative...

For me:

1. Bama - Oline will make this happen
2. Georgia - Weak schedule
3. Lsu - Not as many defensive scores
4. Arky - No Petrino, new play caller
5. Tennessee - Dooley needs a 5th yr
6. Missouri - will adjust and get to play East defenses
7. Florida - should improve under new OC
8. Aggies - Intro to SEC defenses 101
9. Miss St - still got to play 2 of the top 5 defenses in the nation
10. S. Carolina - maybe should be higher
11. Auburn - see Miss St, and gotta see the defense off the field more first
12. Vandy - Arrogance of Franklin won't cut it again, takes a step back
13. Kentucky - Calipari's back for another yr
14. Ole Miss -

IMO USC should again be in the 30+ points per game range, if not higher. It's hard for people to realize due to the fact that we won the most games ever in our program's history last season, that we dealt with QB drama for the majority of the season, had injury and depth issues with our OTs all season, and lost our top offensive producer around mid-season...

Now, the stellar support that QB Connor Shaw and RB Brandon Wilds gave in stepping up to take crucial roles for us helped us to bridge those issues: it certainly wouldn't have been unreasonable for far worse to have happened.

This season, we now have a confident and experienced QB, and will have a deep and experienced RB position. Our OL overall is projected to be better than 2011, with a slight drop-off in experience but a substantial increase in depth of talent.

The WR position has some concern only because we struggled to find other consistent contributors beyond Jeffery, and Jeffery is gone. But we're still returning the majority of the receiving yardage and TDs, and have some stellar talent there as well to find new targets..

Yep, I've long been saying that when Coach Spurrier finally retires, that we go hire his cousin Melburn Spurrier, who lives in Bedford, TN. IMO he'll run Coach Spurrier's run n' gun to perfection....

Arky has dropped no less than 33 the last three years against SCar. 40+ the last two. One of those years SCar came into the game with the #4 ranked passing defense in the country. SCar's defense is imaginary.

First, it's "Petrino is such an offensive genius. He is a great offensive play-caller; one of the best in the country"

Now, it's
quote:

People put way too much stock in Petrino calling the plays.

So... which is it? 1) He is great and you're blowing smoke out of your arse now, or 2) he isn't that great and you were blowing smoke out of your arse then?

And for clarification, by "your arse," I mean your collective arse as a fan-base.

Oh, so Saban is an offensive genius now?

Arkansas will lead again with similar total, I'd say Tenner will be near the tops as well

I'm saying his playcalling isn't the difference between a 2 loss season and a 4-5 loss season. Especially when we are still using his playbook being called by someone who probably helped him put it together and used the same playbook for half a decade.

Where did the generalization of "Arkansas can't score on LSU" come from? Arkansas has had no issue scoring on LSU. Yeah they got blown out last year, but the past six years before that the only time they didn't score at least 30 points was 26 in 06. idgi
