The school has more integrity than to claim those as official national titles, but all I'm saying is other schools do. I mean, bama fans claim 15 national titles when it's really like 9. Now don't get me wrong, that's still VERY impressive and one of (if not the) highest totals in America for sure. But I mean there's 5 or 6 titles coming from somewhere. It's those crappy little polls that just happened to give your school a title that some schools will bogus-ly claim that we don't. I wish before the start of a season, we would just start claiming em out of the blue. Add flags to the stadium, change the media guide, etc without making a big to do or telling anyone. Just be like "yeah, we have 5. So what"

NCAA says 13 and the CFDW says 14, so no, it's not "like 9."

Yeah, we could claim 7 more titles, but I'm glad we don't. I don't want Auburn to stoop to the Michigan/Bama/Tennessee level. And honestly if Georgia did it would be a real shame.

As far as I'm concerned no Heismans in the BCS era mean anything. UGA has a claim on five titles and I'm claiming all five.

Considering how bogus the system(s) used to be for declaring champions, I've always thought pre-BCS championships were a mess to begin with. When you have 8 polls, there will naturally be disagreement.
That said, touche. It'd pain me for everyone to play that game and I shouldn't either. But UGA not being AP champs in '46 (ND and Army both had blemishes on their seasons) is a travesty.

UGAs 1946 team was undefeated and shut out Bama and beat a real good unc team in the Sugar Bowl.
