It's hard for me to grade 7-12 because all but the bottom two seem kind of close. But..
1. Florida - I still think they are #1 until they lose, but that doesn't look quite as improbable as it did at the beginning of the year. UT showed that with great RBs you can run right at them and they are clearly not as fearsome on the receiving front as last year.
2. Bama - Been pretty impressive so far. We've only played one legitimate team, and we haven't played a complete game (well, maybe today), but have still gotten it done comfortably. I think if we can get it all together (i.e. clean up special teams and score touchdowns instead of field goals) we will be very, very hard to beat this year.
3. LSU - Weren't overly impressive in first two weeks, but the Washington win looks much better now. Most people have Ole Miss here, but LSU has more talent and has players who've dealt with the pressures of being a targeted team before.
4. Ole Miss - Haven't played anyone yet, so we're basically guessing based on the latter half of last year. But they've done pretty much all they could in their first two games.
5. UGA - Good win tonight in a shootout. I think they'll get stronger as the year goes on.
6. Auburn - Not far behind UGA, and they've done a good job to start 3-0. It will be interesting to see them play the big dogs in the SEC and we'll know more about them at that time.

If they can find them a QB that could just make smart decisions. He doesn't have to throw 20 times and 200 yards a game. Their running backs look solid and they will only get better.
Monte like I said earlier today, I eat my words. I did not think he would transition well into the college game and so far it looks as he will.

Tennessee was tied with #1 Defense in SEC last year, dont give all the credit to Monte

But who will that guy be even after Crompton leaves? They didn't really get anyone good the past couple of years, and I highly doubt Tyler Bray is going to step in after 4 weeks of summer practices.

Yes but with Chavis last 5 seasons that was not the norm. I think this year numbers wise they finish better than last year.

Never know, they could pick up a Juco player, maybe a freshmen steps up and surprises us much like Ainge did.

If you watched the game instead of trolling for scores you would have. But I guess I made the mistake of assuming you had more than a superficial knowledge of the teams you were talking about.
What about when Bama was only leading FIU 20-14 through most of the third quarter?

Bray is a mid-termer he will enroll in December. Lamaison(sp?)is our Juco guy and Stephens is the current backup it will probably be a battle between those two for next year.

Kiffin had a good game plan to keep the score low, but UT was never in real position to win the game. Even Meyer made the comment that it didn't seem like UT was going for the win, just trying to keep the score low. If not for an uncommon fumble by Tebow, the game is a blowout.

Coaching...they are out of position which can be taught...if the coaches know what they're doing.

#1 LSU - solid defense -steady offense
could win any close game in the SEC
#2 ALA - defense very good - more pressure on
offense to produce in close game. may
cause turnovers.
#3 FLA - solid defense - average offense if you
learn the tendencies
#4 UM - untested going off of last year's record
#5 UGA - erratic but dangerous
#6 AUB - defense not solid - offense very good
TENN,ARK,USC,UKY,MISS,VANDY

I'm 38 and out of shape, and could probably throw for 300 yards and a couple of TDs against Arkansas. We are AWFUL. our DB's didn't even know where the ball was when it was in the air half the time.
Arkansas really doesn't belong in the SEC. Arkie plays more like a Big 12 team.

So your better than a team that beat you in the SECCG?
Until Florida gets beat they are #1 bama is #2
It only matters that you win not how it looks

How do you make this conclusion.
You couldn't beat UF without Percy, they returned all 22...this year
you lost your 5th year senior QB, and left tackle for starters...
You are a homer, pure and simple
UF has Tebow, and Bama doesn not...
Case closed! UF is better and should be ranked ahead of bama until the scoreboard says otherwise
