I wouldn't even call that performance mediocre.

His receivers helped with YAC after very short throws to the flats. He went 27/43 in passing attempts and most of his yardage came from a few screen plays being turned into long gainers.

His one pick came on him getting spooked by the Rush and Uncle Ricoing a pass five yards above his receivers hands.

The only offensive TD that night was from Stockton throwing a pick and Texas getting the ball at the Georgia 36. Even then, it took a suss PI call to get Manning near the end zone.

I remember that was the game where he probably hit rock bottom, Sark dumbed down the offense for him and he still had trouble with reading defenses and accuracy. Georgia was willing to load the box and stop the run game and let Arch throw all night and he could not produce anything.

I’m actually confident Sam will be okay with Kiffin. Now, I’m not suggesting he’s gonna win any post season awards but I don’t feel he will be on your list by the end of the season.

I would say the overrated would be, whomever the mizz-who QB is. Can't give you his name because I have no idea.

2) LaNorris Sellers South Carolina

Sellers had a rough year last year under an awful Shula coached offense (Bama fans should understand), but his freshman year was fantastic.

Because his year last year was so bad I can't see how anyone has him as overrated. If anything his year last year tarnished his name nationally and he might be underrated coming into this season under Briles. Whereas Arch is just not good, and continues to be touted as a top QB by the media

I agree, Manning is overrated. Sellers has more yards passing, more yards running, and more TD’s in two years than Manning.
