For expecting two five star RB recruits, our current stud in waiting (Swift), and the strong contributors (Holyfield and Herrien) to, you know, play up to their talent levels?

And we’ll have an even better OL? Your delusional for trying to rationalize how we all of a sudden will forget how to run the ball well.

Chubb and Michel were great UGA players, but we’ve done this neat thing called recruiting elite talent. Even just matching 70% of Chubb and Michel’s production with Swift/White/Cook will mean a good season on offense.

Fromm has shown progression from the minute he was thrown into action so we won’t be hurting there either.

I know you wanna be excited for Mullen’s future at Florida, but just sit back and don’t tense up too much. It only makes it hurt more. Kirby doesn’t use lotion in divisional games.

Within the FIRST sentence he pulls out the 1980 card.So
typical,idiotic and shallow.

So if thr ball bounces the other way in OT does it mean
UGA fans aren't delusional?Unbelievable.

Were UFAG fans delusional to expect a natty pre Spurrier?

fricking idiot.

Losing Chubb and Michel? Hah..their RB's will actually be better next year, those guys were weak sauce compared to unproven players and Swift.

I actually think you nailed this. You definitely nailed us "Their cockiness has grown, despite also wanting their coach fired. "

3. Georgia - While Georgia clearly has it going right now, the delusion isn't just a one year thing. For a fan base with zero national titles since 1980, you could never tell by their fans confidence. We have already seen multiple dynasty threads.

You mind linking one of those dynasty threads that was started by a Georgia fan. I would be most interested in seeing it, because I obviously missed it.

I disagree that he nailed Auburn...especially if you argue bammers can't be delusional because of their success.

Auburn has won more division, SEC, and national championships than any conference team except bammer over the last 8 or 9 years, yet we are miore delusional than Aggie and Moo State. Two schools who are powerhouses only in their own delusional mind. That is pretty much laughable

We are obviously better programs than they are, but that's not what he is talking about...he is talking about the gap between expectations and reality. MSU, compared to the other programs listed above them, are RELATIVELY grounded...also, we have that extra weird element of being confident but wanting our coach fired half the time. That's sort of unique to Auburn.

You are totally missing the point of you think Bama should be ranked high on the delusional scale. They play for the natty nearly every year, win it half the time, are a rolling ball of butcher knives that nobody can stop (as a program), are by far the strongest program, long term, in the country, and are currently enjoying the strongest dynasty in the history of college football, probably only exceeded in terms of overall major sports, by John Wooden's UCLA basketball dynasty...very few Bama fans overstate that because it's REALLY difficult to overstate that. As an Auburn fan, I hate that...but how delusional would I be to pretend it wasn't true. They aren't delusional.

I'll give you TAMU though...they MIGHT should be higher up the list...perhaps swapped with UK

Not bad. How's the unproven coach because your school can't hire a real one?

Tennessee had their problems hiring a coach, but saying they couldn't hire one while YOU were assuring us that Chip Kelly was signed and delivered...then Scott Frost....well, you seem a bit....delusional.

The Chip Kelly has been signed crap alone puts Florida at the top of this list, easily. At worst you would be tied with Tennessee for their Gruden junk.

an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument,

Let's take a trip down memory lanes at some of your posts, shall we? These all have to do with Chip Kelly being hired at Florida and are made by you!

Word is UCLA job ended the conflicts, and UF agreed to everything chip wanted and just sent Lawyers up this afternoon.
Decision was made last night, plane scheduled around 10pm to leave today .

Same say it's done and waiting till after FSU. TG said it may happen today or tomorrow.

It could all be a smoke screen of course. But every person close to UF seems to think the deal is either done, or almost done.

Probably Kellybait2018

Deal has been worked out.
Source that told me has been right about everything. It's my source, so can down vote and dismiss, it's okay. If this guy said it. It's because he knows directly from UAA memebers.
Don't care if you don't believe. Florida about to make some noise

Smart vs Kelly will be very fun for the next few years. Be nice to see both programs at their finest like the 05-08 days again

These are just a few of your posts, and those only concerning hiring Chip Kelly. Can we revisit this "most delusional fan base" thing again? I think maybe some adjustments can be made.

I know what the phuck delusional means, moron. Thr Moo State fans on here thought they had some awesome team until they got slapped down by Georgia and Auburn. A few of them have already started up for next year. Aggies have over hyped everything about their school since first joining the conference

This is the 4th time in the last 14 years Auburn has made it to the conference championship game with a legitimate chance of winning a national championship. Name all the times Aggie and Moo State have done the same. Both their lists would be shorter even if you expanded it to their entire history

Please,UGA was ranked in the 40's last summer for the '18 class and look where it ended up.

McElwain had substantially less talent (especially on offense) than what Kirby was left with. If I remember correctly,

Not even close on defense. The Gators had a ton of defensive players drafted in '16 and '17 and pretty much all of 'em were Boom's recruits.Kirby had 1 player
drafted in his 1st year (4th Rd) McElwain had 7 including two #1's.

1. Tennessee - No one on this site has won more off season champs. Their level of "this year is ours" compared to results on the field is mind boggling. Truly amazing they can still have as much hope as they do to start every single season. Almost have to admire their delusions.

Tennessee is a basketball school now...you need to change your list.
