there is a big drop off after Fla, Bama, LSU, and Ole Miss

I really think all the others are interchangable

i really expected a second and third tier to be pretty clear by now

Vandy would at least beat one of the following three: UT, SC, or UK. In short, Vandy is not the second-worst team in the SEC. Eighteen starters return from a 4-4 SEC team, and they're the second-worst team in the SEC? I know you hate LSU, but c'mon!
