Do you mean Virginia Tech's "Enter Sandman" entrance?
The big joke (at least in my house) last year was that for the East Carolina they came out to Enter Sandman and the first play was an enter-ception.
It was funny then, I guess.
(You had to be there?)

Va Tech's entrance.
I never liked the piped-in music stuff. I'm not too hype on Wisconsin's Jump Around thing but even worse is the V Tech Metallica entrance. Maybe it's because I don't like Metallica.
ETA: There's even a school (or two actually) that has a "tradition" of playing some kind of techno music. College football + techno =

I understand that to a point. I'm sure noone minds 'Calling Baton Rouge" at LSU.
We here LOVE "Sweet Home Alabama" and also "dixie Land Delight".

Yeah but we don't play that mess during the game like schools like Auburn do... just beforehand

You're right about that. I enjoy "Calling Baton Rouge". It is only played as a pre-game thing though.
Does the Million Dollar Band interact with the crowd like the Golden Band From Tiger Land? I never hear much about it from the Bama folks.

I of course am partial to the single trumpet player standing in the upper level of Sanford and playing the intro notes to Glory Glory before the Munson montage is played in Athens, but from a non biased standpoint I think the Eagle landing at Auburn is pretty cool and (I do like Metallica) think that the Enter Sandman intro at VT is pretty awesome.
I would have to say that rubbing that stupid rock at Clemson on the way down the hill is an overrated tradition, and while I am ignorant on the Hotty Totty thing, Rocky Top is by far and away the most annoying event in college football. First down...we hear it. Touchdown we hear it. A good dump that requires multipe wipes...we hear it. Drives me crazy.

To be absolutely honest, it's starting to lose favor with the younger crowd. It's great every once in a while, but even I get annoyed at the constant Tiger Baiting.
I'm a student and I have seen this a lot. Especially when you walk down the wrong stairs with the wrong shirt on in the student section.

I'm by no means an Aggie fan, but I like the 12th man tradition at A&M.

1. Rocky Top
get another fcuking cheer for fcuks sake, i believe Rocky Top is the state song, alma mater, fight song, cheer, anthem, and wedding song.
and the song doesn't even make fcuking sense, seriously

far and away the most annoying thing in the sec has got to be the damn "rocky top." anyone who went to the sec game in 02(? No Rose Bowl for UT) has to hate that song. i hate it i hate it I HATE IT!!
and i agree with the great to be a florida gator cheer, but more so b/c almost every other sec school copies it (i want to throw things at the few lsu fans i've heard say this)
