your team finally won after 8 years. now you come on here thinking that you won a National title. it took your 75 million dollar coach 7 OT's to beat LSU's crappy coach. I would say that ya'll overpaid for a coach!.

Good god...the question was the ranking of the melt, not continuation of it.
Almost every supposedly bad call held up by the butt hurt, red arse, LLLLLLLLSU fans has been totally debunked, yet people such as the good reverend continue to blubber and bluster in the face of all evidence. Therefore, I would put this melt no 1. I doubt it will ever fade and the game and epic melt will remain a footnote in CFB lore for decades.
And whenever in the decades to come the question is asked; “what was the highest scoring game in CFB history?” ... it will be like tearing a scab off. Old, stooped, gray haired corn dogs will boil out of the shadows like roaches from a rotted wall, slobbering, screaming and crying that ”they was robbed.”

The Devin White melt lasted 2 weeks.
The melt over Bama getting the rematch in 2011 lasted a month.
The melt of Bama winning the rematch is still kinda like Luke warm cheese dip at the Mexican restaurant. You can still scrape out a bite 7 years later.
