Tennessee was the team crying during game 1 of the super because it was raining “too hard” when Tennessee was in the field and LSU hit a homer

Certainly didn't bother them to suspend a game LSU was winning in the 9th inning earlier that season and then resume it the next day

We understand the rule but its bush league to not cover the field, try to reschedule the game, or even move the game up an hour.

SIAP, but Ole Miss is not going to move heaven and earth to finish a midweek game against Louisiana Tech.

That's where you're wrong, Chief.

Our control of heaven and earth is on clear display.

Last night was anywhere near as significant or BS as what we have seen for decades.

So tell me; how much is it worth for a team like LT to have a road win over the defending national champs and a currently top 10 ranked team?? Considering if Tech doesn't win their conference's automatic bid, they will likely struggle to get an automatic bid, they might view last night as pretty damn "significant." Really bad take.

I must've missed the part where we are supposed to care about Louisiana Tech.

Care about what you want. I just found it silly to act like this wasn't significant to Louisiana Tech, which is all I responded to. Your teams cowardice is your problem.

This is an SEC message board. Who gives a frick regarding what happens to Louisiana Tech? Why are you white knighting for them? What are you going to get out white knighting for them? A handy from some chick in Ruston or something?

Well that depends on how Ole Miss finishes the season. the committee doesn't care that Ole Miss won the CWS last year and started this year ranked in the top 10. They care about how good teams are the current year once all games have been played. Even if Ole Miss ends up finishing with a top 10 RPI, a single win over a 56 game schedule is not going to have a material effect on their postseason

Once again, that’s not our problem.

Yes, because we obviously made a storm come through with lightning for like eight hours straight overnight just so we didn’t have to finish a game against Louisiana Tech. Literally created a storm out of thin air as soon as we lost the lead.

You’re a fricking clown. And your faux outrage has been noted and appropriately mocked.

For a team on the bubble (which is likely where La Tech would be), to act like a Quad 1 road win wouldn’t enormously help them is stupid. If you’re on the bubble we’re talking minute differences with who you’re competing against.

Look clearly you’re embarrassed about the crap your team pulled last night. I mean who wouldn’t be. Don’t get pissy with me, I find it embarrassing as well. I’m just replying to the guy who said this wasn’t anything significant to LT.

Bud, rain outs happen literally every season all across the country. You're making a huge mountain out of this mole hill. You have no idea how good or bad Ole Miss and Tech will be come late May. And if Louisiana Tech is one of the last 4 out and points to one game on their schedule as to why they didn't get in, then they're being ridiculous. They play plenty of games to make up for an isolated loss. This isn't football.

And why are you saying Tech will "probably" be a bubble team? They weren't last year or the year prior. Or do you just want this early season midweek game to mean more than it actually does? One single Q1 win in February is not going to be the difference in a team making or not making the NCAAT

It's only significant to their egos, not their actual season

You can’t possibly know this anymore than you claim I can’t know they are likely a bubble team. Where they are projected preseason in CUSA profiles as the area of a bubble team if they don’t win their tournament.

They were projected to win the CUSA. The CUSA is not a one bid conference.

If they leave it to one single game to determine their NCAAT fate, they fricked up in a lot of games. This honestly might be the most ridiculous arguments I've seen on here. You have to be one of those people who freaks out every year when LSU loses a midweek game to a nobody (and it's going to happen again this year more than likely because it's baseball) when it ends up meaning nothing in reality

They had 6 fricking other innings to score more runs.

Go to the La Tech board if you want more sympathy for them. No one here really cares.
