Have any of you other fan bases had a team just flat out quit like this LSU BBall team?

The closest I can think of outside of Joker's last year in FB is Gillispie's last season at UK. And they really didn't "quit" on the court. shite was just so dysfunctional behind the scenes that they fell apart and had guys who actually threatened to quit the team all together.

That team had a few starters that were suspended by the NCAA the day before the UT game and were out until the Auburn game.

So, they get suspended, then the remaining players stomp the crap out of the SEC East champs and take the national champs to the wire without the suspended players. Then, suddenly they lose three in a row, including at home to to UL-Monroe and it was the suspensions from before the UT game that caused it? bullshite.

Not exactly, but the A&M football team quit on Kenny Hill during the Bama game in 2014 and they stopped playing for Kyle Allen after the Ole Miss game last year.

That 2000 team was a mess. Half of the team was doing blow in the Booth after the games. Can't remember the gingers name that year on the team but he loved the blow.

That's when we lost 9-0 to Auburn in the freezing rain, right? What a train wreck that season was.

Yep. That was my saddest Bryant Denny moment. Stadium was pretty much empty, student section was deserted from the beginning. We just sat there contemplating how far we had fallen.
