Just like people call us Polaks (polish) and I'm white.... idiot
The announcer made a point to remind us that AU has held 24 out of 25 teams well under their season averages...
We do play in Lake Charles this month... closest LSU plays to Texas this year. I'm going to try to go to that game.
Did y'all hear Yvette say that Southeastern beat Oregon today?

I checked and they won 4-2 over #5 Oregon... they also beat Rutgers 4-3 ans lost to #13 Clemson 5-3 in 8 innings

Also Belmont beat Georgia today 2-1 ( lost to UGA yesterday 12-0)
I thought Chinks were white...

Learned something new today...
Yes

Lamar just finished beating Illinois 5-2

Since I got my graduate degrees there, I will get an email on Monday celebrating their victory over a Big 10 school.
I think I have to disagree some because while Woodward never attended a softball game, Verge has been seen many times at the home games. He may not say or do anything, but I get the feeling that he may be more involved in the non-football sport than Scott.

Verge did go to the SEC soccer tournament, but I'm not sure if he went to the soccer regional at Vanderbilt.

First sport that Verge needs to take a hard look at after men's basketball is volleyball. That sport has underperformed for many years and I'm not sure when the last time they made the postseason.
Nacogdoches isn't the Texas Hill Country...

West of Austin is the Texas Hill Country
What does giving to LSU softball have to do with anything here?

I gave money every year and threw out the first pitch several times, but I don't anymore... that doesn't mean that I want the Tigers to win less or makes me cheer less... it's a personal deal where I just didnt enjoy going to the games in Baton Rouge anymore. I've put my money into things that bring me relaxation and enjoyment like going on cruises and vacations.

So I cheer from Texas and get over to Baton Rouge a couple of times per season and catch all games when they come to Texas. A lot of us can't give money, but still support our teams.
And I don't feel sorry for NC State either...
Maybe since all of the football and basketball players are getting 6th, 7th, even 8th years of eligibility and even those who played in foreign leagues... we have a former NCAA Division I national championship MVP pitcher on our campus.. maybe we can get her eligibility again??? Lol
I feel like I'm watching the Rockets of James Harden era....

dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, shite shot, dribble, dribble, dribble, turnover

They are also having attendance problems

In football for sure. I live here and went to a game this year and there were more Texas Tech fans than UH. That's why I was so shocked when they brought so many folks to the bowl game.

Basketball draws pretty well. I also went to the Tech game a couple of weeks ago and it was packed and very loud.
Don't see any board members from the LSU Houston in the picture

Johnny Jones, Texas Southern University head basketball coach since 2018... updated for you.
Tim Rebowe, head football coach at Nicholls State is a LSU graduate. We had several classes together..

I know the topic is about those who played sports at LSU, but the topic is pretty generic and I know there are lots of us alumni who have been, or still are very successful head coaches in our world.
I was doing my student teaching at Broadmoor HS and I had gone to the teacher's lounge behind the library to put my lunch in the refrigerator. On the way out, a couple of classes were watching the launch on a couple of portable TVs. I stopped to watch and we were all in shock to what we saw. Very sad day.
It's going to be hard to decide between Vance and Rubio for President. I think we are in good shape with either one.
His name is all over the place there.
