Quite funny that Georgia's first road game vs. an SEC opponent in Texas will be Austin....

vs. the Horns when the Aggies have been in the conference for 12 seasons. Gotta love the SEC offices and their scheduling.

Having us play back to back in Auburn without making it right lost all my faith in those decision makers' ability to do what they should

Only one game in 2019 at Kyle Field. Pretty disappointing.

That was your first SEC game in Texas.

Yeah, for several reasons.

-first it's just illogical and stupid so that matters.
-in 2013 one of Auburn's best teams of all time didn't beat us until the final play of the game. Had that game been in Athens where Auburn hasn't won since 2005, it's likely Auburn has one less sec title and natty appearance
-auburn fans complain frequently about having to play at Athens and Tuscaloosa both in even years. Were things made right they would get one of them home annually

I take it you weren't a yell leader or you'd correctly remember something like that.

What happened in that game? Was it a sellout?

How is that possible? Not one trip there in 12 years?

IIRC the rotation got messed up by COVID and 2020 was the year that TAMU was supposed to host UGA, now why they didnt just schedule it that year I have no idea

You know that LSU and Georgia have played 9 times in the last 20 seasons and only 2 of those games were outside of Georgia?

UGA consistently has the easiest schedules. About time your team had to actually travel a bit.

Didn't SEC Shorts address this?

"Now now! Georgia not playing A&M in College Station is a deep-rooted tradition that we must maintain at all costs."

Not actually true.

Georgia at Texas A&M was supposed to take place in...wait for it...2024.

You got to be in the East and have Auburn as your permanent opponent for the last 10 years, what else could you ask for?

Yeah, that was in Georgia and I just remember it being a very rainy and sloppy game.
