The chances of him having career ending injury in the next 3 years as a running back are higher than any other position.
I don't blame him for getting his money while he can.

Wasn't the deadline for entering the portal 2 days ago? Maybe he just waited til now to announce?
for players with bowl games played fewer than 5 days before 01/02, it's 5 days from the day they played their bowl game, and the deadline is for them to give formal notice to their athletic departments. Those notices aren't necessarily published and released in real time.

the oline didn't look as good this year as last year also

No, Ole Miss is doing the right thing. A RB is the most replaceable position these days. They beefed up the DL (and defense overall) which is most important.

In the NFL sure, a dude that's played his arse off for you? I don't know. I'd use that to recruit against ole miss all day.

Again, he's gotten raises every year and even had a number agreed to before the bowl game this year. He's paid well above position value. Please, use this to recruit "against" us.

I guarantee you we were offering Judkins a very good deal, both on and off the field. He’s been the starter since his first day and I’ve heard rumblings that we were offering him close to $1M. He may want more than that, and if our Collective doesn’t think that’s worth it, I’ll trust them. They’ve proven to be very good at their jobs so far

Judkins leaving will either be the best or worst decision he makes in college. I hope it all works out for him wherever he ends up

How does anyone really know how much these dudes are getting paid? I see these numbers thrown around all the time but I've never seen anything tangible to back them up. Not calling you out specifically but whenever I see these reported numbers, I have my doubts how accurate they really are.
I just have my doubts a college kid is going to be dissatisfied with only getting paid nearly a million dollars. I just get the feeling a lot of these reported numbers for players' NIL deals are overinflated

Yeah, the excuses are funny. He's 20 and a huge impact player. You just can't replace that. No one cares if he quits football at 30.

you can only say this if you know what they have paid for other players though correct?

losing the best rb in the sec to the portal??? are you really this dumb
It's RB. We got the best overall, best DE, best LB, best DT, best Safety, and best at the time WR.
I think the additions heavily outweigh the substraction
Are you really this dumb?

I'm hearing most likely Auburn for 1.5mil
The only other school in the Judkins auction is Alabama.

This is correct, but you have to let folks cope.

Didn't he have a lot of nagging injuries?
I don't recall him getting hurt a single time over the last two seasons.

So you are saying he isn't the best rb in the sec? or is that what you are saying in case he leaves OM?
He averaged 4.3 yards per carry this past season. That's a yard and a half dropoff from his Freshman season and over 400 less yards with only 3 less carries. Would you be happy with that?
and you read like shite......I said that if Judkins is the best RB in the SEC(based on results), it's only because the SEC is down.
But I would ABSOLUTELY say that Schrader was a much better running back last season, than Judkins.

Makes sense. Go to a team with a good offensive line before you head to the NFL.

You got the best players, possibly, at those positions in the portal, not the best players at those positions in the SEC
Judkins has been and would have been a huge part of the Ole Miss offense next season. Regardless of who you may have gained, that's a gut punch if he does end up leaving.

No I can say this based on how our on-field performance has been over the past three seasons. Our transfer players have been instrumental to winning 29 games over the past three years, so I say let them continue to do their jobs
Judkins was apparently a major hit to team chemistry to the point Jaxson Dart asked Lane to take him out of the game during the Peach Bowl. It sucks to lose him, he’s a great on-field talent, but RBs are replaceable and we’ll survive.
