It's 5 guys who have all started games. Though Porter has the least starting experience, he's gotten a lot of PT the last couple years. Behind them is more talent than we've had in a while, but the back ups don't have very much experience at all.

I don't expect us to make it all the way through the season without an injury there, because we never do, but this is the best 5 we're starting out with in a while.

He's probably a backup for multiple positions

Perhaps. Haven't read that though.

Girlfriend's family is from Louisiana and are huge LSU fans and so I've been watching LSU football for the last six years.

I kind of feel bad for asking, but after last season, it is almost necessary. Are any of them injury prone or still recovering from injuries?

A waste. He should be an OT. Is it possible he was only playing C in the Spring until Malone comes in?

He will be an OT before it's said and done, but we were short on depth at center. He could probably play all 5 spots if need be for now.

Vadal Alexander is still recovering I think, but I'm not real sure. He had surgery before the bowl game and came back very quickly, it was obvious he wasn't ready.

Williford has been injured in the past, but I wouldn't call him injury prone.

Right on. For some reason i was thinking y'all lost a lot. As long as those big boys can run block, I'm sure you guys will be fine.

Yeah, exactly. He's the backup C for now because, well, we need a backup center. I think Williford was also taking snaps at C this spring, which just illustrates the need at that position.

I'm not sure we really know how good Malone is right now, so that's a wait-and-see type of situation.

That looks spot on. Tigers starting five are solid. Those two sophs on the right side accounted quite well VS bama last year as freshmen.

Tigers had three runs of about 18-20 yards each, running directly behing RG and RT. Total on the night of about 85 yards on 15 carries running behind bull and dozer.
